Ukoo was in a panic... her stomach was in pain... a lot of it. She had been restless earlier but she had settled down-flopping around to get comfortable. She had wandered away from the pride, to the outskirts. She was scared... she was absolutely petrified... and the last thing she wanted was to freak everyone else out with the lowly problems of a slave. She found a niche where she was a bit sheltered, as she lay and breathed heavy... wanting the pain to stop...
Why did she meet that male? Why did she let this happen? Oh, what was going to happen now... where her siblings having babies too? She threw her head back and moaned. This had to be torture...

She felt an horribly painful spasm pass through her and she grasped the ground with her claws-moaning painfully... oh, she was dying... she knew it. All this work for nothing-she was going to die. She smothered her face with her paw, trying to ignore the pain... but another spasm clutch her and she cried out... before her maternal instincts kicked in...
As she shut her eyes, a vision of brown and red flashed in her mind-and she had to gasp as she could see a small cub following her on her travels...
Soon, a child was born.
Her vision was right.
She stared down at the boy child-panting. She couldn't believe it... what a beautiful things-this little child at her paws. She nuzzled him against her side-where it was warmer... and where she knew milk was.

Light sprinkles of rain began to fall and she was grathful for the cover she had found... the large frawns kept the rain off her and her brood. She stared down at her brown son, amazed at what just happened-and afraid at the same time. The pain hadn't stopped... but.... oh, she felt another coming on. She twisted and contorted, careful to not hurt the newborn beside her.
This was it.. how could her grandmother have borned so many cubs and not gone crazy from the pain. She moaned, squeezing her red eyes shut as another cub was born...
In a flash, an image of grey and olive came into her mind, a small child who lay on her paws-talking to her in a voice that she could not hear.

A girl child.. she smiled... a lovely little girl. She was so dumbfounded already-by the birth of her children... no one else's. Perhaps, someday she'd get them home... She nudged the small girl to the little boys side... making sure no rain fell upon them

She couldn't imagine that her seer powers would kick in now-of all things. She smiled, anxious to see what her next vision would give-what she would see in the future of this child. She looked to the two at her side, cooing to them quietly as the rain began to fall harder-and some drops began to fall upon Ukoo herself... but she simply reached up and moved the ferns so that the rain did not land on the cubs. If someone was to get rained on-it'd be her.
Another pain wave rolled over her back and she gasped, her eyes shutting again.
This time, a color as dark as the sky and red. The previous boy played with it.. laughing... happy.

She sighed down too her cubs... as the pain began to subside... this was what she was now.. a mother. She nudged the baby to the other three.
(Feel free to post cubs and Moses)

A soft chocolate cub cried out faintly as it welcomed the world. His eyes remained tightly shut, and his fur was clad in the sticky crimson fluid of the womb, but there was a powerful feeling inside him. What is this world? He squealed as he was suddenly moved closer to a forceful heat. The overpowering smell of milk reminded him of his hunger, and he soon closed his tan muzzle around the life-giving flesh. He was filled with the warm milk and drank it greedily.
Now that he was able to notice other things, he heard the soft squealing of another cub and felt the spasms that rocked the body giving him his milk. His tiny nose was barely able to accept all the scents around him, but the one thing that he noticed most was the one of the warm body surrounding him. He already knew the smell somehow; it had been with him through his whole existence. It was powerful, and snagged his heart with its familiar claws. It was a welcome feeling, one that seemed necessary for him to live.
Mother.
And so it was.

Ukoo gazed down to her brown child, starting to clean the filth from the birth away from his fur. What a darling cub-she smiled down at him and beamed... even despite the cold and rain that fell... her warmth would keep them safe. She cooed down at him... deciding his name.
"Pua'funika... That is your name little first born child of mine." She said, leaning down to nuzzle him against his soft cubling fur. She wondered the fate of her new cubs... though inside she was a bit afraid... and what about Shai... perhaps when they were old enough she'd take them to see her... see how the insane lioness reacted to them...

It was cold. That was the first thing the darkest cub noticed. It was cold, and he did not like it at all. He mewled in protest as he was pushed about, but soon stopped his protests. He was being pushed towards warmth...and warmth was what he wanted, needed. And the scent of someone he knew....
Mother. But what was Mother doing beside him, instead of around him? He didn't think on it long as another scent caught his newborn nose. Food! He found the source easily enough and latched on, all thoughts of why and what dashed from his mind. He had food, and most of him was warm, and he still had Mother. That was all that mattered.

She went from warmth and comfort to cold and scared in less than a second. The little cub mewed loudly, needing attention. She was hungry! And cold. Luckily she wasn't cold for long, she felt something large, warm, and furry push her and she eagerly went towards the smell of food she was being pushed towards. Reaching out with her paws she searched for the source of the smell. Her little paws met soft fur and skin and she kneaded it, craning her neck, lips searching for her first meal. It didn't take her long to latch on to her mother's teat, drinking greedily. As she drank she warmed up, realizing that she was pushed up against another warm furry body. Maybe this new world wasn't all that bad after all.

Pua'funika, Covered nose. A description signifying all of the new cubs. First born, first seen, first described. The tiny cub's heart beat faster with recognition, though only subconsciously. The need for milk was still priority for now.
However, Funi - as he would come to be called an allegory to humor - could feel the rustling around him and he squirmed with a slight squeal. There were others like him, all searching for the warm milk of their mother. They smelled just like him, and the sharp, swirling patterns and spots coating their pelts were so very similar to his own. They shared his blood and his spirit; they were his brother and sister.
The brown cub pawed at his brother, who had squeezed into the space beside him. The similarity was striking, though midnight gripped his coat instead of the creamy chocolate of Funi's. But, just like with his mother, Funi felt a strong love for the other cub that he couldn't yet explain.

Ukoo felt her maternal instincts kicking in as she stared down at her cubs... the rain beginning to fall down a bit harder-and Ukoo had to flick her ears a few times to get the water drops off it. Why did it have to rain... she looked out into the ferns and plants... seeing the darkness surrounding and being comforted by it. "Don't worry little ones... it's raining but-M-mummy will protect you from the rain and stuff..." She said quietly, putting her paws over the cubs to keep them away from the water and breeze.
"Now Now... Mommahs.. here... lookit all you little ones..." She said, more to herself then to the cubs... how beautiful they were... all nestled together. She felt immense joy swell in her chest.

Things hadn't gone unnoticed by the King of the pride, the scent had caught his nose and he'd watched all that went on for a while till it had started to rain...he didn't mind rain...infact so much talk of it from when he was still in the Mistweavers had prepared him all his life for it and he encountered more when exploring with Afritti. He let out a small calling rumble, not one to threaten, or to frighten...just to let the female knew he was there. He had experience of how hostile females could be with cubs.
Moses wasn't close enough to see, he stood in the rain, he let his fur cling to his thick muscled frame and watched her as she lay there with new life....new life for the pride....for all of the pride.
"Well this is a suprise, young Ukoo." He said in his calm, silken voice.

At the pawing of his brother, the youngest cub couldn't help but paw back, distracted from his meal. Who was this? They were warm, and small like himself. Careful, newborn sniffs helped him figure it out...that and a sudden realization that this other had been one of his neighbors inside Mother.
He squeaked and went back to his meal, now content again. His brother and sister with him and Mother. They were all together again. Though the weird, cold something tried to make them wet again, he was content and happy, full of milk.

Ukoo smiled down to her little ones-reaching low to clean each one at a time. She took in their scents and their individual smells-enjoying them. Wouldn't Mother and Father be proud of her-she wished her Mother and Grandmother were here though-or even Shaitani. She sighed, looking down at them quietly, when she heard something. She lifted her head-her eyes wide for a moment-before she realized what she heard. It was Moses, King and Ruler. She felt her stomach flip slowly-oh no... what is something was wrong... what if-she wasn't supposed to do this. She felt her heart quicken. "Sire." She said quietly, looking to him with confused and maternal eyes.
"I... I can't explain much King Moses... but... I had three cubs. They have no father... I will care for them-I promise..." She said quickly... would he take them away like he took Shai's away. She brought her paws closer to her cubs... tucking them under her.

Moses didn't blink, didn't smile, didn't seem moved by her words at all as he listened intently before his head slowly tilted to the side, The smallest smile flickered over his muzzle as he looked over the squirming balls of fur, so vulnerable to the world around them and to him if he ever made a violent move against them. But he wouldn't. Ever.
"Shhhh..." He started in a soothing manner as he looked over the mother, sitting there with his paws tight to his form. "You needn't explain, Ukoo...and you needn't fear about your cubs."
The male craned his neck upwards, looking towards the weeping sky as the rain water made his load of fur cling closer to his large form before looking back down to the new mother.
"They will be protected like any other member of this pride."

Ukoo looked at her king for a moment, her eyes showing her concern and fear but when his words left his lips, she sighed and looked content... and turned her head back to look at her children... She felt so old-so big since the little cub taken from home so long ago. She bent down and moved the babies around for a moment. "They all have a piece of me my lord..." She said, taking in their pelt markings. Barely anything of their father.
She looked over her shoulder, looking much more happy and content now. "Have you ever seen such a thing? Little cubs that look like me!" She said, her eyes showing her happiness.
