Hmmm....anything except the traditional movie/McDonalds deal. Bowling, skating, hiking, yodeling. Anything fun, anything that's especially suited to the tastes of the other person.

I don't date, so I wouldn't know. But I have a question, if someone asks you out... what would be a nice way of saying no?

Yodeling? Hey, it works. You'd get to know eachother better at least.
And I think that's what the first date should be about. Getting to know eachother better. If you're in a dark movie theature, you're not talking. All you know is "hey, he/she can sit still for two hours, oh I wanna marry her!" ... not practicle.
And I'm with oogie_boogie888, how do you say no nicely?

"thanks, i'm flattered and all, but i'm not really interested" works i guess.

No, not really. With every single guy I've ever said no to that way they either don't give up or act really offended. Of course I don't have a better solution, so that's the best anyone can do I guess.

I love vague people... rolleyes
Ok, that sounds like good advise... And I would think if he's still after you, then you just straight out say no. With the offended ones, I would think that if they're offended by that, nothing won't offend them. But I've never been put in that situation, so I don't really know... sweatdrop

bowling, picnics, and stuff like that is fun. although i'm a guy so i might not be as in tune with the whole romantic factor as girls might be... although i did watch the notebook of my own volition...

just got a great idea for a contest!

"perfect date contest" - post your idea of a perfect date and we, the guild members, will vote on the best one! not sure how much the entry (if any) and prize (if any) should be but it would be fun!

chivalry has been swamped lately. what do you guys think of the perfect date contest... well actually the girls... i know! jow about we have a contest for guys and then girls and the opposite gender votes on the othes (guys for perfect date created by the girls and vice versa) and then we pit the 2 against eachother?
