Info on this highly addictive series:
Claire is a 16 year old freshman at the local university in Morganville, Oklahoma (i think) and she comes to find that the town's secret could get her in to a lot of trouble. Its not safe at night because of the vampires, and if you're not protected well you'd become a midnight snack. Since Claire was beat up by the popular girls at school she finds a new place to stay and becomes friends with the other roomates. In Morganville its a fight for survival for Claire and her friends.
