I just needed to make an announcement...I'm so excited!!!!! It's going to be one freaking awesome Halloween Party/Reception. My Fiance is going as a Dragon and I will be a Fairy. My dress is Gorgeous Hunter Green Silk, I can't wait! It's going to be great.
Any Suggestions for party ideas? or cool Halloween snacks? Ways to keep children entertained? etc.? I'm drowning just a tiny little bit.

First of all, congrats. Wish you and your fiance the best of luck and all that cliche stuff.
May I suggest getting one of those spiders that hang on the ceiling and drop down whenever someone walks up? They make for some interesting moments.
And I just got an idea for an activity. Give everyone a famous horror movie scene to act out, but give them some sort of twist like.... "If this movie was acted by penguins" or some other such sillyness. I seem to recall doing something like that at a Halloween party once, and it was very fun.

snacks you could do rice crispies (home made of course) shape them into little balls and do pumpkin faces on them. i ususally do mine bite sized. you have to use alot of orange food coloring for this if your having any large number of people there.
games you can always do bobbing for apples.
as for you're poll an outdoor wedding is fine if you live in the south 3nodding here in Texas it'd be perfect weather!!!
