arrow Thou shalt not violate the Gaia TOS!
arrow That means don't steal the art, either.
arrow No rudeness! I can't abide rude people.
arrow Listen to the staff! If their name is on the staff list, they have authority in this guild. Disputes may be taken up with me.
arrow Parents may NOT sell their plants. If you no longer wish to take care of your plant, it will return to the GM for new placement.
arrow You can only start out with one plant. The only way to obtain a second plant is through breeding an Adult.
arrow If you don't think your sprite should/would be walking around totally nude, you are welcome to provide clothes and accessories that can be included in the portraits from the child stage onward. Make sure to discuss them with the artist and get their permission!

RP Rules

arrow The GM's word is law. If you have an issue with anything an assistant GM has done, do not throw a fit. Simply PM Songjewel with your grievance in a civil manner and we can work it out.
arrow Only RP within the guild will be given points. You may RP your pet outside of the guild, but you will not receive points unless it is a GVGS-approved event. In the event of Guilds going down, a temporary RP thread will be set up.
arrow You must RP your plant once a week. This is not an extraordinary time commitment, as it is an active RP and you do not have to post in a Journal every week.
arrow You do not have to have a Journal. You MAY, if you wish. The GMs will be reading anywhere you RP, so you will gain points from RP in a journal. However, you can do exactly the same thing in the main greenhouse thread, and get the same points.
arrow Of course you are allowed to take a hiatus. If you will be away from Gaia for more than a week please notify the GM. DO NOT abuse this by taking a hiatus every other week.
arrow If you are going to be gone for more than 3 months, please let the GM know so your plant can be assigned to either a new parent or foster care. You are welcome to find your own plant-sitter to RP for you while you are gone, but they must go through the same application process as new parents. Let the GM know if you plan to have a plant-sitter.
arrow Outside pets are allowed to visit the arboretum, but only if you have the permission of that pet shop's owner. Remember to abide by the rules on the Trail Guide sign!

arrow Respect the established scenarios. Do not make up facts that are impossible or contradictory to the storyline.

So this is the main office, interesting. I thought to myself, looking about the large room. A couple of computers and a bookshelf full of plant dictionaries and information were the main points of the room. I went up to the desk spotted a sign in sheet. I scribbled my name and the other information in as I looked about for someone. "Hello? I'm here to adopt my plant...?"

Faidrae peeked her head through the door to the main office. She held a crumpled newpaper add in her hand. "Uuuuh ... Am I in the right place ? " she murmured, mostly to herself.

Well, weather she was in the correct place or not, she went in, and took a seat, assuming that someone would tell her one way or another. As she sat, she played with her hair absently, wondering what the exact details of this project were. Being a lab worker herself she was highly interested in studies such as this. As soon as she had been the add in the apaper she had called the number and was delighted once she had been told she had an appointment.

now, she sat waiting for said appointment and wondering exactly what it would entail ...

Krys "Elf" Ricci walked in, pretty much just catching the ends of certain conversations. First of all, she heard that there would be an interview entailed, which was fine. She was getting used to interviews. After that, she heard Faidrae ask about the location.

The shorter woman walked in after Faidrae had sit down. She took a seat and leaned back with ease. Krys smiled and nodded at the other person, "If you're in the wrong place, then I guess I am too." She winked and motioned to herself, "I'm Krys Ricci, although many people just call me Elf. It's nice to meet you!"

Natasha hurried in, her shoulder-bag jouncing over her shoulder and her keys jangling. Seeing Elf and Faidrae already seated in the waiting room, she rushed even more. This was not very productive, as it caused her to trip over her pumps and spill the contents of her planner all over the floor.

"Oooh, I'm sorry!" she groaned, "There was a wreck on the highway and I was stuck for two hours! I'm not usually this late, I promise."

She gathered up the odd-sized sheets of paper and candy wrappers that had fallen from her arms. Chucking her things behind the reception desk, she pointed to the sign-in sheet as she fished in her pocket for a bag of skittles to munch on.

"Have both of you ladies signed in? It looks like Songjewel is with someone at the moment, but I'm sure she'll be right out as soon as they're done."

Elf giggled at the add, "No... I don't usually see ads anymore." She scratched along her patch and smiled broadly, "Word of mouth is how I heard about the appointments..."

Seeing Natasha stumble in, Elf was about to get up to assist but it looked like the woman had things under control. She sat back down, only to hear she needed to sign in.

Elf turned to Fai, "Did you want to sign in first? You were here before me, after all..."
