Hello, this will be my first campaign that might actually get off the ground, so I'll be going with a easy 1st level campaign, seeing as I don't really have the time to get a higher level campaign started here. And for the fact that my first campaign on a different guild is having trouble getting started.

Here are some rules I'll be going by...
1) Please use the dice roller, preferably use JavaScript Site (I know some people have trouble with Gaia's dice, and this one does the class/race/skills/feats for you also)for the stats and such
2) PLEASE NO ONE-LINERS, try to be descriptive of your actions, and please keep in/out of character in the correct places....basics that all RPers should know.
ex:
Saying: "Hail adventures!"
Thought: "Will they be able to defeat my low level dungeons?"
Don't nessecarily have to post the "Saying:" mind you, nor do you have to color, but it helps. 3nodding
3) If you are not here and when we are in battle and your turn is up and the person who is after you is online, I will be taking your turn. If you don't show up for a week, your character will simply leave the party until a time you either come back OR the party has need and seeks him/her out. In doing so, you will not gain exp. with the rest of the group, and in such you will become weaker. So I urge you not to start and not be able to play.
4) If something should come up IRL that you can't avoid, and won't be able to play for some time, please let me know ASAP(as soon as possible). I may forgive you, depends on how active I am at the time. sweatdrop

PLOT:
A calm Nation has broken into war with a neighboring city, and the dragon guardian has gone missing. To help matters get worse undead have started appearing and wrecking havoc. Some locals believe that it has something to do with mysterious cloaked figures weilding scythes and sickles. The place you'll be starting? A town at the bottem of a mountain. Your job? That is up to whether you choose to accept a offer from the mayor....

Edit: This is all taking place on a world mostly of my own creation. I have yet to come up with a name for this world, so it is going nameless outside of "World". There are some key differences between this world and ours. I'll try to keep the Key Terms and other info updated to reduce the confusion.

Edition: 3.5 (I like my Monks, barbarians, druids and bards.)
Starting Level: 1
Starting Gold: PHB's class starting gold
Class: Any
Race: Any that don't exceed lvl 1 standards. (ex: Human, dwarf. I'll even be accepting Dragonborn of Bahamut)

If you don't have access to some of the books, here is a link to all the 3.0-3.5 books that I know of.
Warning! They are PDF files, and a few tend to be over a few megabytes worth of memory.

Hopefully this works out. Here's my namesake character Dimitri Fate the Gentle Necromancer and Brendon the Skeleton Familiar
PostPosted: Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:56 am

How the hell would your character have a skeleton familiar at lvl 1? I know they get a familiar, but a skeleton?

Not that I'm complaining, I'm just wondering... where'd/ what book did you find a skeleton familiar in? (Cuz if they could do that, that would get me to play a wizard!)

It's a variant from Unearthed Arcana as well as several specialized school variants. Initially the skelly isn't very powerful, but it evolves as the wizards gets strongers as follows:
HD= necromancer's class level
Natural armor increase by 1/2 of the necro's class level
Str and Dex increase by 1/3 of necro's class level

On top of that I took feats from Libris Mortis, and a good half of the Corpsecraft feat series.

If I really wanted to be a minionmancer, on top of the skelly familiar, I'd've taken Enhance Undead variant. It sacrifices the +1 necro spell/day but every undead created gains +4 to Str and Dex and +2 HP per HD. Too bad I like spell casting more that stronger minion at this moment.

I'm not to familar to Unearthed Arcana, so I'll be looking at it during the weekend (don't get as much internet time as I would like during the weekends). For now, the only thing I have to say is that all of thos poor 1HD monsters are going to be running from your skeleton if I don't think of something fast. So yeah, you might have to fight some stronger things just because of it. twisted

Okay, question time for Dimitri. I was looking at your character sheet during the weekend and the same question kept coming up, how did you get so many feats? Your human, I got that, and your a wizard with a proficency to Necro, plus first level. So that explains three feats (1 extra & scribe scroll, and 1st lvl), but how did you get a min. of 2 more?

Unless I'm counting wrong I have noticed a total of 5 feats (I don't know how flaws work), when you should have a total max of 3. (Again, don't know how flaws work.) So unless the flaws give you extra feats, I have to say that you'll have to get rid of a few feats. Besides that all I have to say is...

You are that one player that I have always feared of joining my games... WELCOME TO THE GAME!!! blaugh

Actually you got it right. Flaws provide a penalty to something in order to get an additional feat. Character Flaw

The only flaw I had taken that isn't on the site is, Arcane Fatigue

Arcane Fatigue [Flaw]
Conjuring magical energies is especially draining for you.
Prerequiste: Ability to cast arcane spells.
Effect: Whenever you successfully cast an arcane spell you must immediately make a Fortitude save (DC 10+spell level). If you fail you become fatigued. If you are fatigued as a result of this flaw, it has no further effect until that condition is removed.

Really you don't have to worry to much about me, I'm usually a support/battlefield control character. Brendon is mostly there to keep Dimitri from being flanked.
