Howdy smile Many cretaive people seem to like having their own space to work, whether this space is out of necessity, something you made yourself, or simply soemthing you're dreaming to have one day.
Where is your personal space, or where do you do most fo your cretaive stuff? What is it like?
Also, it seems that a lot fo people here are working on big projects - but do you have any ideas for future projects you're queueing up?

Ah, I knew a some point someone would come up with this. whee
Well, I like to write, and am quite good at it, else I wouldn't be here. xd I tend to handwrite things at school, of course; usually brainstorming a possible future to my story; and I type everything at home, in my room, on the computer. School is fairly busy, and the work is hastily done, so I usually edit it several times. At home, though, I have plenty of time to sit at the sceen staring off into space thinking about what to write next. Usually I'll have music on via AOL Radio(AIM), listening to Christian rock. sometimes the silence is better, but music is great to have to give you ideas. The tune, the beat, or the words often can strike you as interesting and enjoyable, and imagination springs into action.
For the current time being, i am in the process of writing a book, as we all know, but as for future projects, you can only guess, and likely be accurate. That's right, another book to read. I'm planning on writing a series, so it should be fun for me.
Am I getting too descriptive? I can stop now can't I? xp

Cool smile
Weellll.... as you know I love writing, and tend to focus on my book at the moment. I wish I had my own proper writing space to go to, but living with my family half the year and with my flatmates at uni the otehr half of the year doesn't really make that practical. Genrally I use my cute red laptop to type chapters (or type up bits of writing). I try to sit down and write anything from 200-1000+ words in one sitting, but I'm the kinda person who doens't have much disapline in that area, so despite my efforts I can go ages without writing >< I'm trying to improve XD At any rate, when I do write I can't be connected to the internet, because I end up here rping instead (lol). So I usually find a nook in the computer room (usually sat on teh floor by the radiator), or -if my dad's home form work and has the Tv on loud- i usually retreat to my parent's bedroom (which is upstairs on the same level as the tv room and stuff. Our house is a bit wierd. we live on the 3rd floor, all bedrooms aside form my parents' are on the 2nd floor, and my gandad lives onthe 1st floor). Before I got my own room, the room I have at home used to be the guest room. it has a double-sofa bed that made a great sofa, and I'd write down there. However now the sofabed is always open to make my bed, and my room's always messy, so i dn't write much down there anymore.
-ahem- I'm going on too much aren't I?
Anyway, all that aside: I do my main writing straight onto a laptop. However for short chunks of writing if I get inspiration I like to write longhand on any paper I can get. Usually these are a scene for the book, or a set of doodles of characters etc. I usually type this up and insert them into the book later when I get to the point they fit in. I also have a habit of talking out chunks of dialouge to try it out, and getting a lot of inspiration from thinking about scenes while I listen to my ipod in my room.
As for art - I do that anywhere. Usually I draw on my lap while watching Tv, then retreat to the computer room to ink them.
As for future projects: I have my big book. But recently (at about 2am in the morning xp ) I came up with another idea for a possible series of books after I've written this one biggrin Needless to say it involves angels and paranormal stuff 3nodding
Genrally it's inspired by the 'odd thomas' series by Dean Koontz, the 'Reaper' Tv series and the 'pushing daisies' TV series...

Dean Koontz! xd I've read a couple books by him. Very well written. They taught me action isn't everything. XD
I di forget to mention afterI type a chapter, I reread it out loud to see if it sounds right, and I'm the type of person who can't stand bad grammar, so it works out pretty well. I try to put a persective from the way the character sees everything. Though so far everything is focused solely on Vence, later a new character will be introduced in his own chapter... ninja
