In South Dakota, Sept 26-28. I plan on going down Saturday, to check it out and talk to people in the artist alley. I might get a table next year.
And I'm only about 4 hours away from Anime Detour, Kakkoi Con, and NebrasKon, and 6 from Anime Iowa. I had no idea there were so many conventions in the region!
Anyone been there, by any chance?

TBH, I cannot give you an honest review of Sogencon. I'm going to admit my bias right out and not give you a review; there may be someone around who's attended who can give you a better one.
Detour is fun but has its problems (not the least of which is the registration cap)... I've attended every Detour but they're lately at the point of "I'm just going because it's cheap and convenient."
Kakkoicon, my sales were low, but it was a new con with a very young and inexperienced crowd... I can't make a good review yet on that one either.
Anime Iowa, for me, is cursed so I've cut it from my schedule. biggrin Even before I started doing Artist Alleys I had bad luck at Iowa every single year.
NebrasKon rocked my socks! I went for the first time last year, and they treated the artists really well (and we were well located too); it's since been added to my regular con schedule.
Also, if you're interested in comics, check out Fallcon (first weekend of October, St Paul at the Fairgrounds Grandstand)--lots of indy creators, similar to what you find in an Artist's Alley--very focused on the books, though.
