everyone needs to get over the Bret Hart screw job. I think its funny that the majority of the fans hated Bret Hart before it happened because he was hell. the majority of the fans where cheering for HBK and wanted him to win that match. but know that its years later ppl are automaticly down on HBK and say he screwed Bret. but when it actually happened no one cared. especially not the WCW fans. and how does anyone know that HBK didn't protest and get told he would lose his job if he didn't go along? Ever thought about that?
I am not saying this to be down on Bret Hart. I like the man as a performer and a athlete. he was the most technically sound wrestler in the business. He was the hardest working man in the business. but times go on and things change. My dream match would be to see Angle and Hart in an hour long Iron Man match. I honestly don't know who would win this match. Angls is just as good know as Bret was in his prime.

Okay, for one thing, not to be rude or anything, but who are you to tell the ones who are still angry about that match to get over it? I happened to like Bret Hart for YEARS, along with Shawn Michaels (not to mention that I was a fan of WCW as well as WWF), and even I was angry when I saw the outcome of that match. My outrage of the result has calmed over the years, but that doesn't mean that I'd let anyone in on it off the hook for it. As for any of us not knowing that Michaels didn't protest, go look at Bret's official site, www.brethart.com. He and Michaels didn't like each other BEFORE the Montreal Screwjob, and had even gotten into fistfights backstage because of Michaels' arrogance and cockiness. Michaels even specifically said that he didn't regret what he did, and that he did whatever he had to do to get on top in the company. Now, Bret vs Kurt Angle in an hour long Ironman match is a good idea, if only Bret were healthy enough to wrestle. I'd love to see Bret make a return back to the wrestling ring, and beat Kurt in the Ironman match. But this Monday at the Homecoming, as much as I like them both, I want Kurt to beat Michaels.

However Shawn still refused to do the job, thats all the proof I needed. Bret was my childhood hero (Along with Batman) Shawn Screwed Bret, there fore I will forever hate him. I will also forever hate Golberg.

Jaw Breaker What I find funny is for years people chant "you screwed Bret" at Hebner and as soon as he's fired he's known as "The greatest ref ever" Hebner's not the greatest ref ever. If anything, he was probably the oldest ref ever. LMAO, just a joke to myself.

Small world. eek Bret's my favorite wrestler of all time, and I respect him for his technical prowess in and out of the ring. He and benoit are my favorite technical wrestlers in the world.

personally, i don't think that Micheals screwed Hart, and if i remember correctly...the bell rung before Hart could put the Sharpshooter in, i will always like the matches that Hart and Micheals had because if you can put 2 guys in a ring, that don't like each other, and want nothing more to hurt each other, then you got yourself an even better match because it's personal (Matt Hardy and Edge), not professional, personally i question the Montreal Screwjob, because didn't Vince screw Bret?
i'm sorry for sounding ignorant, but i always thought that Vince screwed Bret, and plus i like the matches where everything is personal beyond the storyline...it makes great publicity...but on the other hand, it could get someone killed

I fyou all will remember corectly he was notorious for writing " shoot" story lines. "shoot" being where the situation is sime real and the wrestlers don't know whats going on. remember the Goldberg storyline in WCW when Russo butted heads with Goldberg. also a "shoot".

I despise what he did to that company. cry If he never went to WCW, they would still be here.

Hey I'm just glad they were gone during Vince because it seemed like it was losing the companies entertainment. Like for one example during the REAL NWO (( With Hall, Nash,Hogan,X-Pac,and a bunch of others)) even though they had crappy wrestling you would still buy the PPVs because you would think something special would happen. When it broke down it hardly was good because of the crappy wrestlers and angles. And Jeff Jarret was the WCW champ.
