History: Mike's career started in the original FFA, run by then friend Kelly King 2.0, where he experienced immediate success. He won the very first Free For All match to win his first title, the FFA World Championship. He would hold that title one more time before his priorities changed and he encountered The Monitor. Neo Hurricane Michael, FFA's resident superhero took The Monitor under his wing and they became very successfully FFA Tag Team champions. The superhero duo defended justice and tag gold alike during their reign. They lost their titles to Vince Caputo and Jonathan, just in time for the next Free For All match. The tag team seemed dominant until a miscommunication caused The Monitor to lay out his tutor and eliminate him from the match. Monitor went on to win that FFA Match to win his first and only FFA World championship. This didn't sit well with Mike, and it caused him to turn on his loyal student and beat him senseless. Mike has still not forgiven Monitor for what happened that day.
As the FFA evolved, so did Mike. He abandoned his Superhero form and became an identity all his own. Mike eventually abandoned the FFA and joined the WTF (Wrestling Tyrants Federation) where possibly the greatest battles of his life took place. There he met a large golden haired behemoth named Hunter. Each man immediately recognized the others skill, and over the years and years of competition they clashed in historic confrontations. The two most impressive would undoubtedly be the pair of Hell in a Cell matches that changed each mans life forever. The first one was Mike's choice, the first and last Watch Your Step Hell in a Cell. Mike was victorious after delivering an Hurrislam from the top of the structure causing Hunter to collapse through an announce table, making Mike the winner. The second was a classic Hell in a Cell, where Hunter took his revenge and delivered a botched Vertibreaker from atop the cell, giving Hunter the victory, but causing both men to leave the business to recover from their brutal injuries.
When Mike was ready to return, the WTF and FFA had reached an agreement and merged into the WTF/FFA Alliance, where Mike got his next taste of gold. Mike won the WTF title at long last and reignited his feud with Vince Caputo in an attempt to merge the World title with the United States title. Their first encounter was for the WTF championship, in which Mike successfully defended. Their second encounter had both titles on the line in a two out of three falls match. Vince won the first fall when Mike, in desperation, low blowed Vince. He immediately followed up with a school boy and won the second. Vince finally came out victorious in the final fall but since the first fall came as a result of a disqualification, no titles changed hands. Mike developed a friend and tag team partner in new comer Momo Jones, the Ladies Man. Another dominant tag team, they pushed through their competition until they were given a shot at then tag team champs James Caputo and Dakota Koontz. It appeared that Mike and Momo would cement their legacy and become tag team champs, but a personal rivalry backstage caused Mike to show his true colors once more and turn on his protégé, costing them the match. Momo swore revenge and got it the next month when he challenged Mike for the WTF championship, defeating him in a match that truly displayed each mans power and technical ability. Once again dejected by a former partner, Mike became deeply ill and once again had to take a sabbatical from wrestling.
When he resurfaced, he came to the Twisted Flow as the bodyguard for the Glitch Wrestling Federation. Mike became known as The Innovator, and proved his name with his outlandish wrestling style and moves. Immediately he made an impact, unleashing his pent up rage on Geoff and Jed with his new favorite weapon, the trash can. Mike once again encountered The Monitor here and they tried to set aside their differences to become a dominant tag team once more. In a three on one handicap match consisting of Geoff and Jed against Mike, the Monitor, and the man known as 1.0, Mike displayed that their partnership could never again be. He betrayed the Monitor once again and kicked him out of the GWF. Monitor retaliated, but his attempt left him a bloody pulp in the ring at the hands of his former teacher. Mike, in realizing his potential also realized he had to expand from his comfort zone in order to be truly great.
Mike did just that, trying his hand in a vast number of Indy wrestling companies and gathering a massive amount of gold, and one impressive accomplishment: forcing The Undertaker to tap out in his signature match, the Watch Your Step match.
However, everywhere he went, new rivals stood up and made Mike take notice. Men like Kelly King 2.0, The Undertaker, The Rock, Randy Orton, Ryuu Sakamoto, Matt Shanahan, Carwright, Jacque and most famously Jed forced Mike to step up his game and become better than he had ever been, both in the ring and out. Mike refocused himself and became a better person because of it, and suddenly all new doors were opening for him. Mike began winning major gold once again, starting with the Canadian Heavyweight Championship, then the BWA Heavyweight Championship, WWE:ER Championship, WWE:E World Championship, and finally the DCW Championship.
During this time, he developed a year long feud with veteran competitor Jed, and a very personal rivalry against newcomer Matt Shanahan, which saw Matt running Mike over with a car in order to win the love of the beautiful Ashley Massarro. Mike won the heart of Ashley and his new fans after defeating Matt in his signature Watch Your Step Match, but in the shadows waited Jed as always.
Mike and Jed formed a temporary tag team, finally setting their differences aside to become a great union of two talented singles stars. Unfortunately it dissolved when Mike found pain killers in his partner's bag. This time it was Jed who betrayed Mike, causing the hatred to reignite between the two. They faced off in match that exemplified their feud, a brutal Last Man Standing match in which Mike came out the victor. Unfortunately, it wasn't over there. Now Mike must face him at WrestleVasion in an Ironman Steel Cage match in possible the biggest match of his life.
Meantime, in DCW, his title win was very temporary, as not minutes after his victory it was taken away from him by Freakshow. Mike's possibly last chance at the title is at Extreme Nightmares, in a match that a representative on representative match will decide the stipulation for. Now his former friend and long time rival Kelly King 2.0 stands in his way as he has aligned himself with Freakshow to defy Mike his championship gold.
