Okay everyone, break out your dusty glorified emulator boxes and play some burned copies of a bunch of neglected weird titles from Japan!

-Jet Set Radio
-Soul Calibur
-Power Stone
-Last Blade
-Gaurou: Mark of the Wolves
-Bangai-O
-Skies of Arcadia
-Evolution

Also would accept: other s**t that be freaky.

I have a dreamcast.

Aw, yeah.

Played the hell out of Jet Set Radio.
Bangai-O I now have on my DS.
MVC2 is still the s**t on the DC.
Trickstyle is where it's at.
Grandia 2 ate up a lot of my time.

I still have my Dreamcast, but damn, do I miss the crazy games.

Never had a Dreamcast. It did have some pretty sweet titles though.

Never owned one. But what was with the empty space in the controllers?

What do you mean? Are you talking about where the VMU's go?

I weep for the gaming youth.

Jeez, I feel like a geezer, having owned both a Turbo Graphix 16 and a Sega Master System on launch.

DC was only 9 years ago. crying

In the small instances that I've played a Dreamcast there was never anything in that space.

I have a Dreamcast. Still play it actually. wink

Nter, that slot was for the Virtual Memory Unit. A memory card with a screen. You could see various different things on the screen, depending on the game. For example, in Soul Calibur, you could see your character swinging his/her weapon horizontally or vertically as you played the game.

Well, aesthetically, there's nothing there, yeah, but under that blank spot is the guts of the controller, since the memory card is being read from the controller and not the system itself.

I forgot... How did I remember?

Doing my DQ questions for Diversity in Society and when I inserted the date I saw 9/9 and was like OH s**t. Then South Park had the episode where the kids do the tooth fairy thing to get a DC.

YEAH...
