GCS Rules:

Follow Gaia T.O.S.

No bumping threads - that should be a given really. If a thread dies, it dies. we can always move onto other things.

Mules - Mules need to be announced as such upon registering them for the guild. While you are allowed to have mules here, it is imperative that you let it be known the account is a mule. Otherwise, you screw up the support list, the activity list, and even the mule list. It is of high importance that these are all kept accurate, and separate.

No Godmodding - Putting this in the RP rule section is apparently not always effective enough. Only crew may godmod.

Quote:
Godmodding - Only crew may perform this. It will only occur in the negative towards your character if you are being written out of the RP. This will only occur when you have done something that we have deemed too destructive to have you around. Regular members may only have the ability to godmod, when a crew member has temporarily allowed it for whatever reason.

Nobody is to abuse these powers. Ever.

On an Added Note, Mimicry Is only allowed in limited notions. Complete mimicry of another's powers WILL be considered godmodding

Offices are Limited - In the GCS RP, you may only have an office if you are a level head, or if you are specially granted permission. Any offices made without permission are subject to sudden and permanent disappearance. As a labtech, you are issued a lab, and that should be all you need.

Be kind to your fellow Techs - The last thing a faction needs, is civil war.
Let's all play nice, and have some fun. Gaia is a game, after all.

Weapons - Weapons stay out of the lower levels unless permission is granted by the head of your level or the captain himself. Security members are the only ones allowed to carry weapons throughout each level without question.

Spamming - This is annoying, really it is, especially when it breaks the security level rules which are quite obvious. Continued spamming will result In an unhappy way for the spamming user.

ID Cards - Every time you bring up the ID Cards, a grunny kills a kitten.

Activity - Be active! We understand that you can't spend all your time in the guild, but make sure to drop in when you can. Whether it be once a week, or daily, we just want to see you around! If you are absent from the guild for 3 months or more without reason, you risk being removed.

These rules are subject to change by the captain and crew.

RP

Facility Rules and Guidelines

* Be as literate as possible.
* No bumping, spamming, flaming, etc.
* Try to make your posts a reasonable length. Nothing too short, but nothing like a wall o' text either. Depth makes the RP more fun.
* All Out Of Character talk (OOC) should be placed within double brackets "(( ))" at the end of a post, to prevent confusion. Also no post should consist entirely of OOC talk alone, unless it is a notification by captain or crew.
* "God Modding" is strictly forbidden without permission from captain and crew. That includes taking actions that affect the entire RP.
* Employees can not invite people to their own level or lab without the matching level of security.
* Keep all "double-posting" at a minimum.
* Privileged information - While it is suggested to read up on the older sections of the RP, your character may NOT use any information that they do not themselves come into contact with firsthand.
* When you are RPing in a specific lab, please place an identifier in your post as to what lab you are in. An example of such can be seen in the first post of any level, aligned to the top right.

Keep in mind that more rules will be added if we find it necessary.

Captain's Address

When I created this guild, I thought mainly of one thing: The revival of G CORP.

Along the way, I tried to make as many friends as I could,
and I even tried to make everyone happy as well. This however,
was a big fault of mine, as I have learned that you cannot make everyone happy.

Some "friends" have done us a great wrong. They have been dealt with,
and for the final time. I hope that I do not have to explain to most of
you what has occurred, or why we have had problems like this in the past.
Understand this though: While Gaia is a game, and we are all here to have
fun, there are still real people here, and real feelings come with them.
I will not at all tolerate fighting, provocation, or anything else that may
hurt our valued members. You are all valued to me, and the crew, until
you do something that proves our distrust in you.

My direction for the guild has not changed, but my attitude towards
those who would cause problems among us has.

While I am fully grateful for the things that have been done in the name
of the guild, I cannot stand idly by as people challenge my position.

While I encourage the people to speak their minds, you must also
know that speaking out has its consequences as well. I can't change
how you think, nor do I wish to control it. Just know the consequences
of your actions before you make them, that is all.

You could say that I "Rule with an iron fist", but I do what I believe
to be best for the guild. We are in a State of Emergency right now;
A military rule due to a war that has broken out in Gaia.

I may not always have a great deal of time here, but you can count
on the fact that I will use every last bit of it to create progress for
the guild, and it's people.

I will not hold back any longer to cleanse the guild of the things that threaten it's goodwill. If one member carries the capability and the means to separate a group of people from us for instance, getting rid of that one person may be necessary to save the group as a whole.

Just know this; I mean to bring this guild
and it's people to greatness By Any Means Necessary.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please post them here. While the majority of these rulings have been in place for years now, it is also understood that they are not perfect. Perhaps the wording can be improved? perhaps there is something missing altogether? Perhaps you would like to challenge a current ruling? Go for it.
