Jun was trotting down a grassy path. She kept glancing down to make sure Peridot was still with here. The girl was pouncing anything that moved- mostly seeds blowing in the breeze. "Come along dear." She said kindly. She almost never took that tone with anyone. It was only Wally so far, but now she would speak to Peridot as such. They were heading to small pool. It sprung up from the ground and the stream that flowed from it would go out to the sea.
"Will daddy and Joxer be there too?" The little girl loved her family, and was anxious to see them. "I want to show daddy I'm a good swimmer now."
Jun couldn't help but giggle. "Daddy will be proud."

Wallace walked briskly down the path toward the pond, anxious to see both Jun and little Peridot. He glanced over his shoulder and rolled his eyes at his son. "Joxer! Would you stop attacking the trees and hurry up?"
Joxer threw a flying kick at a small shrub, broke off a few of its branches, and smiled triumphantly. With an exasperated sigh he ran to catch up. "But, Daaaaad! I'm practicing!!"
Wallace gave him a look and chuckled. "Yeah, yeah, I know. And some day you'll be a big grown up warrior. But, in the mean time, can we get to your mom and sister please?" He reached out a paw and ruffled the kids two toned mane.
Joxer rolled his eyes and squeezed out from under his dad's paw. "Daaaad! Warrior's don't get their hair fluffed." He smoothed down his hair and trotted into view of the pond.

Peridot ran ahead of Jun. Not knowing her father and brother were near the water pool, she took a running leap into the still blue waters, sending a small spray of water out everywhere.
Jun trotted up after the spray settled and Peridot's head emerged. "Is it cold?"
The little girl nodded as she swam in a little circle. "Y... yes... maybe a l...little."
Jun smiled at the girl and watched her swim. She glanced to the side a little and noticed a little dark shape coming towards them. "Mmm. Looks like they're here.
Peridot clambered onto the muddy shore, shaking herself off hastily before running. "DADDY! JOXER!"

Joxer got to the pool first and grinned at his sister who was running towards them. "Hey, Dot! Hi, Mom!! You guys have got to check out this new move I picked up! It's so cool!!" He started performing his flying kick on a nearby weed, adding warrior like sound effects to complete the demonstration.
Wallace chuckled and trotted up beside Jun, nuzzling her in greeting. "How are my beautiful girls?" He grinned down at the little mud splattered Peridot and shook his head, chuckling. "Hey, little munchkin. I hear you're getting to be quite the swimmer." He turned to Jun with a smirk. "This is all your fault you know." He said, gesturing at the two tiny troublemakers, before licking her cheek.

"You had your share in making this too you know." She giggled before licking his cheek. "Orbis should be along with a basket of sandwiches. I made my human get cucumbers for you too." She spoke while watching Joxer preform his kick, expecting him to get tangled in the weeds. "Oh my, aren't you becoming quite the strong man?"
Peridot came running up, trying to shake out her fur as she ran, succeeding in looking like a twitching, sopping mass. "Daddy! Did you see me swimming?" She asked excitedly before rubbing her head against Wallace's leg. "I'm almost as good as you are!" She was far from a great swimmer, but in her mind, she would be just as good as her father- if not better, in everything.

Joxer was pulling at his back foot which was wrapped up in a vine. He beemed proudly at his mom as he finally pulled free and landed in a heap at her feet. "Yep! I've been learning a lot." He glanced over at Peridot and stuck out his togue. "I bet I could outswim you!"
Wallace smirked and tossed his mane out of his eyes. "I have no idea what you're talking about." His eyes lit up at the mention of cucmbers and he rubbed his head along her neck before licking her nose. "See? That's why you are amazing."
He glanced down at his little daughter and smiled. "You kiddin? You're already way better!" He grinned and licked the top of her head.

Jun smiled down at the boy. "Oh, you'll be the greatest warrior in no time at all." She nuzzled the boy a little as he righted himself then bumped her forehead to Wally's. "I know you so well." She laughed.
Peridot shook her fur out again and showered her brother and parents with the spray of water. "No way. I'm not better then daddy yet. Daddy's the best! But, but I will be some day!" She looked at him with adoration. As she did, she flicked a paw out to smack Joxer's nose.

Wallace winked at her. "Too well. You know all my weaknesses." He laughed and trotted toward the pool, splashing in up to his chest and tossing his now damp mane from his eyes. "Come on in you!" He nodded at Peridot. "You too little one. Show me some of those swimming skills you've picked up!"
Joxer blinked and twitched his now throbbing nose. "Hey!! I knew you were gonna do that. I could have blocked it if I'd wanted." He stuck his tongue out and pounced on her head.

"A real warrior would ha- EEK!" She tucked her head back as Joxer pounced at her. She scrambled out from under his paws and took off for the water, squealing. She jumped in and hid in the shallows, behind Wally's legs.
"She really is your daughter." Jun smiled before looking down at Joxer. "So, might warrior, are you a grand swimmer to? Can you save a drowning damsel?" She would fully play along with what she thought were her son's games. He can be a warrior today, what would he be tomorrow?
(Oh how Jun doesn't know...)

(( xd ))
Joxer galloped around, circling his mom. "Yeah!! All mighty warriors are experts at saving damsels." He grinned up at her and struck his best, most distinguished warrior pose. "Not to fear my lady, no harm will come to you with Joxer the Mighty as your gaurd." He did a sweeping bow and off balanced himself, toppling over and rolling into his moms legs.
Wallace rolled his eyes at his son and shook his head, glancing with raised eyebrows at Jun. "I take no responsibility for that one. He must have your genes." He winked at her, fully expecting something to be thrown at him as he turned around and nudged Peridot with his nose.
"So, my little water bug. Let's see those swimming skills." He trudged deeper into the water until his paws left the muddy bottom, and began paddling gracefully about in a circle, shell just sticking up out of the water creating little waves in its wake.

Jun smirked and scooped up some mud from the bank and flicked it at the older Kappa. "But he's so handsome. He takes after you, at least a little." She smiled. She looked at Joxer as he tumbled into her legs. "Ah, my little warrior is all a mess. You can't fight like that now. Get in the water and clean up." She said in a more authoritative mother tone.
Peridot looked at her father as he began swimming away. She took a deep breath and began to follow him. When her legs were off the solid earth she began paddling as best she could. She looked almost like a dog trying to swim. She rode some of the waves made by her father's body. "See how good I am?"
