This loneliness was starting to get to the killer Mermaid. She had started trying to become a normal Second You when she had thought of taking a demon as a lover. And he would only have her if she accepted his 'nephews'. And then he abandoned her again. He always left her alone. She was tired of changing herself for he when he would never be around or near her.
This caused the mer who had finally started to each again her diet of fallen fruit, and anything that lived in or visited her lake.

Grigori and Sahsha had been floating in the water for what seemed like ages. The two twins wanted nothing more than to get out of their vases and try their wings out for size. After a long long time they finally hit what felt like land Sahsha poked her head out and called to her twin brother "look grigori we've made it! were on land!" The little fire phoenix hopped excitedly out of her vase and reached up to the lid of her brothers vase to pull it open but was still to short to reach. Grigori poked one eye out and then threw the lid off of his vase "Yay! I was getting so tired of being in there." The ice phoenix hopped out of his vase and stretched "thank you for being done with water." The two laughed excitedly and pulled their vases completely on land to prevent them drifting to sea. "I wonder if there is anyone here besides us?" Grigori asked sasha, she just shrugged her shoulders and finished pulling her vase on shore.

Because of the fact that the cat demon had started to train her not to attack things floating in her lake the large mermaid just swam along the bottom of the lake. How dare she eve think about attacking the demon's prized seconds. He would never look at her the way he kept looking at them. They were dearer to him that she was.
She hissed softly and moved now along the surface of the water causing a larger wave to flow around her as she moved. She hated his world and her starving body.

Sahsha shrugged her shoulders "I dont know, there could be but for now it seems there is only us. Might as well get used to it we might be alone for awhile." She sat on the sand and started soaking up the sun to warm her body.
Grigori wasnt satisfied with being alone in this place, he was not happy at all. He placed his hands on his hips and started to look around him then started to walk up the shore a tad. After a little walk he started hearing this lapping sort of sound coming from the water. The what seemed to be calm lake had waves coming from it our towards the middle. He walked closer to the water and squinted out towards the middle he thought he saw something moving but he wasnt sure. Grigori ran to his sister with excitement "sahsha! Look there seems to be something out in the water but I cant tell what." He jumped up and down with excitement pointing to the source the waves seemed to be coming from.
Sahsha stood up and walked up next to her brother. She followed her brothers idea and squinted she too could see something moving but she wasnt sure what. "Maybe its a fish or some kind of animal." She sat back down on the beach and stared out into the distance.
Grigori with much excitement yelled as loudly as he could with his little lungs to the creature out in the middle of the water, he had a feeling that it was something they could communicate with "Hello! Hello out there! Can you hear me? Helloooo!!" Grigori was excited, this would be his first encounter with anything other than his sister.
Sahsha just sat and watched rolling her eyes "Your crazy, I bet it cant hear you."

Sure enough the waves stopped for a minute as Lunars heard calls of a male above. They did not sound like the demon's nor his vail nephews so that meant they were fair game to her.
She turned her body and started to swim directly towards the sound.Her body moving very fast the wave that she made very large around her. She had a plan to get them into the water and take them down one at at time. If she splashed a large enough wave it would sweep them off their feet and pull them into the water.
She was nearing the shore now and she curved her body sharply to send a large wave towards the shore.
Tadpole saw the waves that Lunaris was creating and seeing how she started to make a b line for the shore his turned his gaze to the small seconds. He gasped and hurried to save the two small feathered things from what Lunaris might do. He knew he could beat her to the shore and hopefully to the small seconds. Where was the one that calmed Lunaris down. Why did that demon always woo and calm Lunaris only to leave her heart broken?

Sahsha quickly jumped to her feet and ran next to her brother "Grigori what have you done?! You made it mad!" She grabbed his hand in fear for what was going to happen to them.
Grigori stepped closer to Sahsha "I didn't mean to I just wanted to call it over to shore, I didn't think it would get so angry at me." He stared off into the water breathing heavily, he had no idea what to do. As he stared off at the large waves coming their direction he noticed a much smaller object moving in their direction "hey look sahsha look over there, there is something else heading towards us but it looks much smaller." He pointed out along the shore to a small object he had never seen anything like that before so he just sort of stared at it.
Sahsha looked at the small object moving towards them "you idiot we had no idea how to escape one but now how are we going to escape two of them!" She started to tear up "I don't want to die Grigori."

Tadpole got there just in time. "I am sorry" he shouted and she slammed into them moving them into a soft bush as the wave crashed and just missed them. He pants softly as the wave caught him and pulled him down a bit but he was able to get out.
"I...I am sorry..." he said softly and jumped up to them, "Lunaris is not happy when new people come to her lake...." he said softly and looked at them. "P..please do not be afraid." he said softly.
Lunaris not getting her pray moved into deeper water to try to get another round.
Tadpole looks at the lake, "You want to calm her down throw fruit into the water!"

Sahsha and Grigori looked at the tadpole curiously, they had never spoken to a tadpole before. They looked at eachother and decided to trust what he said and throw fruit into the water. The figured he saved them from the creature in the water so why would he try to hurt them now.
Grigori stood and looked around them hoping to find a some fruit around somewhere. He spotted a tree growing fruit in its branches and quickly climbed up the trunk high enough to take hold of a piece "Sahsha here! Catch!". He started dropping down fruit to his sister.
Sahsha stood up from the ground and caught the fruit that Grigori dropped down to her from the top of the tree. When the pile in the sand got up to her knees she called up to him to stop. She started to toss the fruit into the water hoping that the little tadpole was right in telling them fruit would calm this Lunaris down.

Tadpole nods keeping an eye on the water wail they collected fruit, "You two better hurry she is planning on making another round. When he saw the apples being tossed into the water he calmed down a bit.
Lunaris was starting to make her way on a second attack that she would even beach herself for her saw the fruit being tossed in. From Grigori's position in the tree he could see the form of a large breasted pale female mermaid swimming in the water she moved towards shore but this time she flipped around the fruit not causing the huge waves this time but just splashing more of her body being shown as she gathered the food.
When she had eaten most of it she slowly moved to sit up in the water her head above the water. As much as it pained her she spoke, "Thank you..."

Grigori climed down to the shore and stood next to sahsha. When the female mermaid said thank you he politely bowed to her "You are more than welcome, thank you for not killing up." He smiled lightly he couldnt help but to be a little nervous but tried hard to trust that she wasnt going to kill them.
Sahsha stared at the mermaid then bowed with her brother in thanks. When she stood she stared a little more than decided to be polite "My name is Sahsha and this is my brother Grigori is this your island?" She was curious, she had never seen a mermaid before. While she waited for an answer she turned to the tadpole and bowed lightly in thanks of him saving them.

Lunaris hissed. "Oh I will still kill you if I am hungry." She said flatly and her cold gaze flicked over to the female. She looked at the bright thing and then looked around the lake, "Do you see an island....it is a lake." She growled.
Tadpole sighed the children were just trying to be polite and he himself was shocked that Lunaris was talking and being nice. Normally she would still try and tear them apart.
He moved between the children and Lunaris, "You were fed...if you wish I will get rid of them Luanris."
This caused the mermaid to laugh, "Like you did those foul little snakes? You little traitor!" she sent a wave up onto the shore as she dove down into the water again.
Tadpole visablely winced at her words before the wave even hit him. He then sighed. And looked at the children his body slick and shining, "I am sorry for her."

The twins looked at the tadpole and lightly smiled "No it's ok, don't worry about it you tried to help us and saved us from getting killed by...her so thank you." Sahsha bowed and Grigori followed suite. "Thank you again for helping us but we don't want to get you into anymore trouble so we will just get to walking and maybe we can find a way out of here." The two of them picked up a couple pieces of the left over fruit from the ground. Sahsha looked out at the water and yelled and this so called Lunaris "You are a mean horrible person and you should be grateful for having any friends at all! I hope you stay alone forever you awefull thing you!" Sahsha was angry that the mermaid had been so rude when all they were trying to to was be nice to her "Thank you again Tadpole you really were kind to help us and we wont forget you." She gently picked him up off the ground and gave him a light hug "well lets go Grigori, see you Tadpole!"

Tadpole shook his head watching the two twins. Why did twins always show up at this lake. Even the cat demon who had once been winning Lunaris' frayed heart had been a twin.
"No do not worry about it. It is nice to have company...she is already mad and almost nothing will calm her down. She has eaten all of her fish friend in the lake because there was nothing else for her to feed on. Poor dear." He sighs, "And she is right, I have never really stayed by her side...I always save seconds from her...and I ran off to play with another set of twins instead of staying with her." he said and looked shocked as Sahsha was able to pick him up, He was a little bit larger than her, normally Seconds in their surprise form could ride on him.
"Well you two take care. If you ever wish to play here then just find me first and if you are with me she will not bother you."

Sahsha quickly placed the tadpole back on the ground, she didn't realize how heavy he was but then again she thought bout it and it hit her that obviously he would be heavy, he is larger than she is. She smiled and then looked at Grigori "You know I think we should try to help her, I know she hasn't had the best of luck with twins but we could be different, we could show her that were trust worthy and that we could be her friends!" Sahsha became very excited at the thought, she really wanted someone to look up to seeing as how the two of them were alone.
Grigori scratched his head in thought "I'm not so sure thats a good Idea, I mean she doesn't seem to pleased that we are here." He thought about it a little longer than looked at his sister, she seemed so happy with the idea and he just didn't have the heart to say no even though he didn't like the idea at all and he was the eldest of the two and should be protecting her but this is what she wanted so he sighed and spoke softly "Tadpole could you help us find a way to appeal to her better nature? We would greatly love the chance to become friends with her and to maybe even have her in our little family of two." He smiled softly it sounded nice at least.
((I forgot to mention, since the twins do have russian names they speak with an accent that resembles a russian accent but its not russian its just some language that gives them an accent, Ill come up with something smile Just wanted to make sure that I said that))
