I used to hate him, but I realized over the summer that he's pretty kickass. He could've had me expelled last year if he wanted. Plus I get away with everything. =]
But now that I think about it, I hated my class more. Think unmotivated, untalented gaywads looking for an easy A. But now the program's all changed and I'm with the overachievers like I've always wanted to be. C;

I guess I need to get over it that my BD doesnt teach and doesnt even conduct..but I still hate her. she was making us to work from the book and kept telling me it was wrong, which would mean the book was wrong, so I don't know what her problem is. and I guess I have to realize that she still has a life and what not..but still..I hate her..she doesnt teach me anything. so i'm prbly quitting band and going to photography. x.x

I hated my high school band teacher, but I love my college one.
I've known him for a while, though... We didn't used to get along, but now that I play an instrument I love and now that he doesn't have to deal with middle school and high school anymore both of us are much happier. XD

I hate my BD because he's HORRIBLE to us, he took away our band shows and isn't letting anyone who isn't doing second semester go on our band trip.

Mine's awesome... he's mean to me because I take the p**s out of him so much XD... but he rawks and is a fantastic musician... he can play so many different instruments and sings amazingly... he's one of the best singers I've ever heard!!! Luckily he won't know I put this, or he'd be taking the Mickey out of me for the next 2 years =P
Its important to have a good relationship with them, it keeps you passionate and motivated about your playing =]

I hated the one I had in high school. Of course, he had to leave right when I did. IT was more on a personal level, seeing as I let him know how I felt about him after three years of dealing with him. It did not help that he would constantly screw me over by threatening to take away my all-state eligibility if I didn't do as he pleased. But it also didn't help that I was in my school's band and the city's youth orchestra. It's not my fault the youth orchestra was such a better and more uplifting experience. Maybe if he tried harder?

My BD thinks i'm very nice, I think the same way of him. Is there a reason why he took away your band shows? My directors never did that for any concerts, but your talking shows...

I don't necessarily hate my Middle School BD, but he had some quirks that were ANNOYING! ~He used to drink his coffee while he was talking and directing, then when he ran out, he would call his 'coffee child' to go refill the pot to make more. ~I'm a flute and I sat in the front row, so not only did I get a clear view of HIS TITTIES from his OVERLY TIGHT shirt, I also got spit on frequently...in the eyes and on my shirt... ~He had this quirk of saying 'um' alot. My sister counted the times he said it at a concert and she got to 93. ~My band director now tends to have temper, so it's really kind of scary, and we hate him for it, when he tends to kick and/or throw chairs off of the huge tower he sat on whenever we would do something stupid. ~When it's 13*F AND THE BD WON'T LET US GET ANY HOT CHOCOLATE WITH THE FRIGGIN COLOR GUARD HAVING PASSED AROUND TO THEM IN FRONT OF OUR FRIGGING FACES! They had blankets, coats, hand warmers, and cocoa. Gosh that was the worst game ever... ~When he doesn't say anything about the glitter in the bathroom...
My Friend's list...
~Our band director had a tendency to SPIT. I was in the front row and he went (at a decrescendo)"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" It got: 1. In my mouth. 2. On my flute. 3. In my eyes. 4. On my best friend's face. I kept playing, but she was like "AAGGGHHH!" and scrubbed her face with her hands. ~ He picked up a stand and threatened to hit a tuba in the face with it. (similar to when my Enhlish Hon teacher threatened to punch me in the throat) ~We took a band trip to Big Kahunas(a water park) and he was in an inner tube. He looked like a turtle without a shell. He was like "Hey Chelsea, hey, hey, look at me! I'm chillin'!" I ran away (still in my bathing suit) sreaming "IT BUUURRRRNNNSSS!!!!" ~He's got this sign in his room that says "Dumb Question" And it's like, professionally done. When someone asks a stupid question, he points to it.
