Anfisa was alone. Well, no, not really alone, per say. Grandpa India was resting in the corner not far away. A short walk, actually. And yet, his granddaughter sat by herself and rather bored, watching him sleep. Her father and sister had left not too long ago. To take a walk, was it? She couldn't remember very well. Either way, they weren't here to keep her company. A snort sort of sound met her sensitive ears and they flicked back. Eyes left the HQ door she'd been watching momentarily and slipped to her grandpop, the source of said snort, who'd rolled over from his stomach to his side and was looking rather comfortable. Anfisa sighed, moving from the sit she was in. Soon she was laid out across the floor, too, wondering idly if sleep would take her as easily as it had taken her less than interesting across-room-company. Probably not. It never did.
What was the point of coming from a line of sleepers if sleep was so difficult?
She rolled onto her back, paws batting at the air for no particular reason other than boredom. Sure, she wasn't the most playful of girls, but this was ridiculous. If Avel wasn't so intent on never leaving their somewhat still unstable father alone, she'd at least have her sister to talk to. She whined, rolling onto her side now. She wanted her twin brother...

Excitement! Excitement! Excitement! There was so MUCH excitement around her house anymore that the hyper and childishly playful kitsu found herself forever bounding from one thing to the next and rarely sitting still. When she was home that was. Which though 'brother' Romy's family was HUGE -like HUUUUUUGE huge!- was not as often as some might think. Chroma liked being out. Out and about and running around headquarters.
Actually... Doron did too. Chroma had not seen her son for a few days now. He was always out playing with that Chastity he was always talking about when he was home. When he was home and awake anyway. Neither of which was often lately. Or maybe we're missing each other. The intelligent but childlike Chroma thought to herself as she bounded up the path to the familiar door of HeadQuarters. That was certainly likely! She could hardly blame her son for wanting to spend time with someone he liked... and maybe they would want to summon the bunny together!!!
Speaking of summoning the bunny... Chroma wondered if her India would want to again. Oh not today -today she was just hoping to see him and love on him- but again. She had really liked that and the kits were so cute and...
Chroma pushed open the door eagerly and catching enough scent of her mate to confirm he was really here she sped eagerly into the room ready to shout his name and pounce as soon as his tails came into sight.
Only... red tipped paws scrambled to slow down the quickly put on speed as bright light blue eyes spotted the kitsu on her back between Chroma and the -duh- sleeping India. Her eyes went wide as claws clicked on the floor to stop her. Which somehow they did. Just before she would have crashed into the dark female.
"whew!" Breathing out Chroma grinned at the female and tilted her head while crinkling up her eyes. "Hello!"
The eyes started to blink as the stranger's scent registered. Chroma did not know this scent... but... whyfor then was it so familiar? Mostly familiar, mostly... family. Huh?
The confusion flickered in her eyes, her brow arches rising and falling alternately as she tried to figure this out.

From where she lay now, flopped on her side, she could watch her grandpa almost as well as before. Something akin to jealousy had started to rise within her, despite how much she cared for her older family member. But it just wasn't fair! She wanted to sleep now so the time would pass faster and the rest of her little HQ dwelling family could be together again sooner. That would make things better, she was sure. Avel would slip back in, giving their father a completely innocent and convincing smile before awakening the darker sibling in some sort of unfriendly manner. She could just imagine it. It wouldn't be so bad simply because she would have someone to talk to.
Pale eyes shut, oblivious to the impending doom storming through the door behind her. It wasn't until the scrape of claws vibrated near her head that she became alert, flipping quickly over to her other side in time to cover her head with her paws before what she thought would be a painful collision. Luckily, it didn't happen that way. If she'd known her grandmother's nature, she would've known just how rare an occurrence no crash and burn was.
"H... Hi," she responded automatically, sounding a bit shaken. Sure, her sister had pounced her more than once, but there was always more warning first. Being attacked from behind was unusual and a bit startling. Eyes shot to the corner and India as if seeking protection from this new female. But he was still asleep... Pfft.
The same familiar feeling the Chroma felt was there, it was undeniable. But Anfisa was still too distracted by being caught unaware to notice it just yet.
