Over and around she crawled, shuffling quick as lightning from bar to bar...

A flick of a tail and she soared to the next bit of the jungle gym, pausing to scrutinize the monkeybars. It was a nice afternoon, and Elle had seen fit to let Eichia loose at the park, hoping exercise would stave off some of the pent up energy she'd been actively using to...well, 'squirrel' away all of Elle's valuables.

After she discovered ChiChi 'buried' Aunt Penelope's box of snack cakes in the toilet to save for later (cakes that had been hidden in the darkest crevice atop the fridge, no less) El decided if she didn't let the kid out of the house, she'd probably never see the light of day again.

Eichia was currently concerned with figuring out how to jump the few feet from the jungle gym to the monkey bars, and hadn't noticed the new kid on the swings...but any second now...

Eichia froze. Her little ears twitched as she followed her nose to...Swingset. Small furry thing. Swinging. New? Interesting. Must investigate.

With a squeal of glee, Eichia launched herself from the bars of the gymset and ran full tilt to the swings as Elle facepalmed in embarassment.

Eichia reached the other girl as she was getting off her swing.

"'Chia!" She announced proudly, poking herself in the chest. "Hewwo! Wat'OorNamePeas?" She spoke quickly, barely pausing to breathe.

Elle watched from a distance, resisting the urge to laugh outright at the strange kid and her newest victim as she strolled lazily over.

Sitting in a sand box sat two vary differnet beings. One your normal Gaian male with an odd duck hat , and a little girl who looked much like a rhino , that's because she had DNA of rhino and so did her twin brother who was playing with some other kids on a jungle gym.

Between the both of them they took up the sand box. Ro-Honda the rhino girl sat in the sand sketching out a heart with her fingers. Gabriel didn't look happy about sitting in the sandbox , but put up with it since Ro didn't like not having his company even though she wouldn't talk to him.

He sat there watching her , she wouldn't give him eye contact our even a glimpse. Gabriel had no clue what to say or do. This was rare for him since he was a chatty person. He would every now and then look up at Ryan making sure we wasn't getting into trouble. He started to think of his other children. He knew he had to stick out the small desert meeting. "Ro honey don't you want to play on the swings , or play on the slide" he said in an antsy voice. She didn't even look up at him. By now the heart had become a heart castle. Many small hearts stacked on top of each other.

An elderly lady sat next to the sand box on a bench. She was small, Asian , and wearing a tang top with dress pants. Gabriel's back was turned to her and Ro-Honda wouldn't look up at her if she was on fire. The lady started to make noise , then started to scream.

Gabriel turned around and looked at her. She was pointing to the jungle gym.

Mariel was amazed at how quickly the girl could move her tail. It moved almost quicker than she could follow, but it was so fluffy and cute that it made her laugh. Again the girl was moving all over the place, seemingly looking for something. It crossed Mariels mind that this would be a fun dance partner, maybe this girl would like dancing too....she moved fast enough....But Mairel was still very self consious about her dancing, she didnt even show lunaur what she was learning. Her only fan at the moment was Ebony their dog.

Mariels head snapped in the direction that Chia was pointing when she heard the words 'New momma'. So then this girl was just like her! They both had new parents! Mariel watched as the older woman came closer, smiling. She seemed pleasant enough, and so Mariel didnt lable her as scary. Mariel looked behind and reached for Lunas hand.

"MY new Mami" Mariel said happily as she tok Lunas hand, she brought Luna closer and stood there smiling at Chia to show that they had the same parent stuation.

Luna smiled as she saw the other woman come closer. the embarasement at being brought forward was apperent and it made Luna smile reasuringly at the woman. Ah she spoke English! Luna smiled inwardly as well, ever since she had recieved Mariel she had been given so many chances to practice her English! This child was truly a blessing!

"No worries, I am Luna Castaneda, and dis bokis is my Mariel." luna smiled down at Mariel and then looked to Eichia. "Your Bokis esta Presiosa. I am glad she pick Mariel to play wit. Mariel can be very shy at times, she need hyper friends." Luna smiled and laughed a little bit as she spoke about Mariel being shy. Because Mariel was still staring at Eichias tail. Luna knew Mariel wouldnt look shy at the moment because she was in 'curiosity mode' and Luna hoped that Eichia would keep surprising mariel and keep her active.

Luna smiled and then looked over at the jungle gym. An older woman was screaming something to some younger boys playing on the gym and Luna caught the hint of a tail as one of the boys involved rounded a corner near the slides. Luna pointed towards the equipment, more for Elles Benefit than the bokis'.

"Looks like we are not da only new children at dis park."

Gabriel was standing up and Ro was pulling on his leg , trying to get him to sit down. " Lady thats not my kid , and I'm pretty sure the snake around his neck is his pet" Gabriel said looking at the lady. They were fighting over a boy they both did not know. Gabriel did notice a new group of people forming by the jungle gym.

" I sure is" said Ryan. "Thats my Pa and sis" he pointed to the man fighting with some older lady and girl pulling on the man’s leg. He turned his back to the new group of people got on the jungle gym, found the monkey bar section and started swing from one bar to the other. “Want to play wif me and my friends" he said to Eichia. There was about four other gaians , all playing on the gym. Ryan made friends with a boy who had a pet snake, he was sitting on top of the last monkey bar.

Ro-Honda made a grunt at Gabriel. This made him stop and look at her. "Excuse me, I have a meeting in this sand box to get to" Gabriel said cheerfully and with a smile. He never thought he would be so happy to be sitting in a sand box. The older lady just fanned herself off and "Pft" at them every now and then. Ro started to draw once more fixing some of the hearts that got wrecked.

Mariel eyed the new boy suspisiously, he scared her a little since he was so burly and active. He didnt seem just hyper like Eichia he seemed more troublesome. But Eichia was going for it and mariel did not want to be left alone on the swings with her momma. So after a nod from Luna Mariel began to jog after them. Mariel walked with them under the monkey bars. It wasnt that she was not able to climb them, she was just a little afraid seeing as how every other kid seemed to be on or near them. Mariel made sure to stay close to Eichia and to keep the new boy in her sights at all times. There was no telling what kind of things he would get into.

Luna smiled as she watched the kids run off towards the play equipment. It was a good sight to see, Mariel playing with other kids. She then turned to Elle who was still there next to her,

"You are lucky Chia is not shy, but I tink mariel likes animals more, she gets along con los Perros, er da dogs, fine at home."

Mariel was completely taken aback by this boys frank hug and manner of speaking. She was a little scared of him now and she took a few steps back. Why did he do that, she couldnt figure it out, now she was curious but in a different way, she wanted to keep her distance from the boy. She hid behind the nearest pole and kept its bulk between her and the boy. "Mariel" She said as she motioned to herself. She was reluctant to say anymore, she had barely met the boy and so did not want to give him too much information.
