SilentLeopard stretched as he made his way out of the warrior's den. He still kept having dreams about the forest and the clan cats, he wished he could go back again, learn more about them and his own past. Being on the first patrol there, the clan cats were not as willing to talk to them as some of the latest patrols. Ah well maybe he would get to go some time in the future for now he was content to live as is.
Carefully he jumped down and made his way towards the water for a drink, the night had left him parch and he could already feel the cold water in his thirsty jaws. Where was his sister though? He was supposed to drink with a buddy, by the off chance that he fell he would not be able to call for help after all.
Stopping at the water he stared at it, before looking round the area. Should he drink? Or should he see if someone would help him?

Yawning as she returned from dawn patrol, Flamewind leapt down the boulders lining the gorge of SkyClan's camp. She had fallen asleep late the night before and her paws were weary. I'll need to take a nap later, she reminded herself. But that could wait. Until then, she was thirsty.
On the way down the cliff, she spotted a gold form slip out of the warrior's den. Silentleopard. She held a great deal of respect for the warrior--what sort of perils had he and the others who had journeyed to the forest had to face? Would she ever be able to go there? I hope so. Someday. But I'm a deputy--I have a responsibility to my Clan. I can't just leave because I'm restless! If I have extra energy or wanderlust, I must devote it to my duty.
Silentleopard had paused by the river. Is he waiting for someone? she asked herself. I guess he must be... "Hello!" she mewed, leaping down from one last boulder and trotting up to him. "Good morning, Silentleopard!"

SilentLeopard's ears twitched when his name was called, turning to the sound he saw Flamewind heading his way. He flashed a toothy grin and waved his tail in greeting to Flamewind. What a beautiful she cat she was, so different with her black coat that made her bright patterns just pop like the lighting in a stormy night's sky.
Yes SilentLeopard was one for admiring she cats, but he had never had a relationship mainly because of a lack in communication. Besides even if he could speak what was a beautiful deputy want with a plain and dull warrior like himself that could not even offer witty conversation.
SilentLeopard was brought back from his thoughts by his sudden thirst returning. Smiling brightly once more he looked at the water then to Flamewind. Perhaps she wouldn't mind helping him out, he wasn't above asking either he just hoped she understood.
Taking his tail he pointed to her eyes then he made a bending motion and pretended to lap the air then he pointed to himself with his tail and then in turn to the water. SilentLeopard gave her a pleading look to show he was asking not telling.

Flamewind watched as the handsome tom made gestures with his tail and pleaded with his leaf-green eyes. She smiled. Looks like he wants someone to help him in case he falls in the water. "Of course, Silentleopard," she meowed. "How could I refuse? I'd love to!"
Her friends were a chatty lot; always asking questions, or talking about hunting. As a deputy, Flamewind heard a lot of talk. It was nice to walk with a cat who didn't talk as much. And Silentleopard was handsome. There were no two ways about it. His fur threw back the rays of the sun, and they were dappled as it held the glory of long-lost LeopardClan.
