There is an enormous house that suddenly began to be built four days before. Builders worked so quickly that, if someone were to look away from an open piece of scaffolding for a minute or so, they would turn back to find that they were staring at a beautifully laid stone wall. At the end of the first day, there had been a meeting, and the scaffolding had been changed. The builders continued building. By the dawn of the final day, the house was complete, and it was as if it had been completed a week ago. All the paint was dry, all the water fixtures were in place- and there seemed to be an awful lot of them. A huge pond in front, connected to an indoor pool made to look natural, connected to another pond in the back. A beautiful house. And someone seems to have moved in. A truck just pulled up and someone came out.
curious people would come to see whats going on, especially since there seems to be someone playing in the outdoor pond...

Yukiko didn't visit outside her home that often, well not after that little incident. However she had argued that she was now 'old' enough and she wouldn't do anything reckless. She didn't think her father quite trusted her on that one, but oh well...
She walked along the city streets, noting that there was something new there. Which she was sure wasn't there before, it was big... if not bigger than the clan house and could more than easily fit her whole family and still have room for guests. Yuki paused at the mansion, she was pretty sure it had not been there a few days ago, but in Gaia... stranger things have happened.
Who was she kidding? She and others like her represented everything unusual about them, coming from one world, living in another, growing fast and still being short. Studying it for a moment, her eyes lit upon the gardens or rather the ponds.
There seemed to be someone playing in it, which she found so unusual. Absently Yuki wondered if it was trespressing if she stepped up to the house and see who it was, was playing.

Kampa Surfaced from her play and looked at the house again. It sure was big! So big! the water was perfect, too. clear and cool, with all sorts of interesting rocks and lilies. Coni zipped around Kampa's head, then stopped in midair. He had noticed Yukiko. He flew towards her, a little green blur, and circled rapidly around her head, chittering wildly. Kampa had just been about to take another look at the garage-like sliding door that separated this pond from the inside. she felt that she was just about to figure it out. But then Coni started chittering. He was a funny fox-thing. I wonder what he's chirping about? she wondered. then smiled. "Cherrrr-ping" she murmered to herself, turning towards where her fox was whirling around the head of... someone. She could see that this person was short, but much older than her. with wings. and something over her head. Kampa was unsure, but decided not to submerge just yet.

What a strange thing.... Yukiko couldn't help but think, it was sort of fox like, but she didn't know what quite what it was. It flew, but it wasn't a flying fox, she shook her head when she noticed the other girl. Curiousity got the better of her as she made her way towards Kampa. Upon closer inspection, it occured to Yuki that Kampa was like her... or at the very least Kampa was an angel of some sort.
"Hello," Yuki mumured softly, "I was admiring your house."
Well actually she was admiring the garden, but the garden was part of the house, so she might as well say house.

Kampa smiled. "Its a pretty house." she said, lifting her tail out of the water a little, letting the water fall off of the fin, "Lee-lee-ed-hee (Liliedhe) likes it. I think. shes inside." the little merangel stared at yukiko. She had never looked in a mirror before, so she didn't know what really looked like. But she knew that she had wings too. Maybe this person was also an angel? "whats that thing over you'r head? He-d?" she asked, lifting her upper body partially out of the water with one hand on the rocks ringing the pond, while pointing at the halo with the other.
Coni circled a few more times, then zipped back to the pond and dived, swirling around Kampa's tail.

As she got closer, Yukiko began to realize that Kampa did not have any legs but a tail, like a mermaid. She had never seen a winged mermaid before (well a winged merboy but that was a different issue all together). Twirling around one lock of her blue hair, the snow child looked up barely catching a glimpse of her halo.
"That's my halo," she explained, "Some angels have it."
It was such an odd thought to her to always have something not alive floating over her head, but there you have it.

"Hay-low... Its pretty." said Kampa, now supporting herself with both hands. "You'r hair is pretty too. Whats your name?" the other angel was shorter than liliedhe, but taller than Kampa... even though her tail made her longer than most other angels her age. Kampa hoped that this angel would have as interesting a name as Liliedhe or even the guy with the wierd name who had sent Liliedhe the note.
Coni poked his head out of the water and nudged Kampa. He wanted to play some more.

At this point Yukiko was close enough to be squating down neart the rocks next to Kampa. Kampa was... Yuki decided like most mers she knew, very pretty.
"My name is Yukiko," she replied in turn, "What's your name?"
Her wings fluttered lightly, and she couldn't help but wonder if Kampa's wings were a hinderance when she swam.

"U-Kiii-koh... U-kiko... I like that name. Its interesting and fun to say." her tail waved from side to side, making small waves of water. "My name is Kampa. Thats Kaaam-pa." Her wings, although they had been out of the water for only a little while, were just as dry and feathery as Yukikos. "You're older than me, aren't you?" she asked. She wasn't entirely sure, but she knew she was just a kid. Only a few days old. It wouldn't be hard for the other angel to be older than her. Kampa ignores Coni. He always wanted to play.
Coni nudged again, harder, then dived under and swam some more, terrorizing the long-suffering Rock the fish.

Yuki carefully took a seat on one of the rocks, it was getting tiring to keep squatting like that all the time. She carefully smoothed out her dress from under her so she would be sitting on her dress and not her underwear.
"From the looks of it yes, unless you're actually older than look," Yukiko replied.
She knew there were plenty of people who were 'old' but not old in the sense that they were grown. Which were two different concepts all together, something normal growing people couldn't understand, but Yuki could.

Kampa thought about it for a second. "No, you're older. I only emerged a few days ago." Her arms were getting tired of holding her at what was now eye level for the other angel, so she lowered herself so her hair floated in the water, while still keeping her head above water so that the other angel could still hear her. "Do you have a human, too?" she asked, curious. She knew little about her own kind, and was unsure about what she did know.
Coni grinned fangily at Rock, then shot up out of the water, behind Kampa. She wasn't going to play with him, then fine! He would see if the wingytwolegger would play with him! he flies into yukiko's arm, headbutting her. he squeaked, insistent.

"Well...." Yukiko thought, "My father is human, my mother... not so much."
Did Kampa even know about this other place? This other world she had to wonder, after all it was only a fluke that it happened in the first place. Feathers ended up here, but they could also end up there.
"Eep!"
Yukiko looked down at Coni and giggled, it reminded her of the pets at home (the ones that didn't talk) and how they would want attention. She petted Coni on the head.
"Silly," she murmured to Coni.

"thats neat. Lee-lee-ed-hee is not my mother. Shes my human."
Coni lifted his little head. She was paying attention to him. he shot a glare at Kampa and began rubbing his head on Yukiko's hand.
"I guess Coni likes you." she said grinning and feeling slightly- only slightly- jealous. "Hey Yuuu-kii-koh... can you swim? Swa-ihm?" she asked. She supposed not everyone could swim like her. they had to come up for air. She wondered how people without tails and fins swam.

Her human, what an odd way of putting it, Yukiko thought. She had never heard of anyone having a human, it sort of made them sound like a pet. She looked at the water, it wasn't that cool today she thought to herself.
"A bit," Yuki admitted, "I don't swim a lot."
She was more rather interested in things on land than in the sea.

Kampa found that hard to understand, since she lived in the water and so had to swim. "Really... Why? Wuh-hi?" she asked, tilting her head curiously. "Its alot of fun, and I bet its even more fun for you since you spend all of your time walking around on land..." She knew that Liliedhe like to swim, or at least fantasize about swimming. When she had first emerged, she had seen the brochures that Liliedhe had read in preparation for that fateful dive. She couldn't imagine walking about on land. when she had been transported to the truck in that dolphin sling, she had felt so heavy... The water held her up and gave her freedom, but being out of it was so oppressive. She could barely move, aside from a wiggle. So she guessed that anybody who had to move in it constantly would be tired and would enjoy the water.
Coni mumured and curled around Yukiko's wrist, a warm, furry, living bracelet with ears that twitched this way and that.
