It had been ages since Arien had last visited the shop. Apparently there had been some big goings-on that she'd missed. She wasn't particularly concerned, though. The only big goings-on she enjoyed were the ones she could wreak havoc upon.
At one time, she would have gotten her brother Feza to help with the chaos but ever since he'd bonded with his stupid pixie and then met his girlfriend Rosie, he was just no fun anymore.
Shrugging to herself, the golden female slipped inside the shop, annoyed with the bell that announced her presence. She fancied herself as stealthy. Oh well, from all appearances the place was empty..

Darius let out a snore as he slept in the corner, a book on his snout and a ray of light falling over him. He had recently found a home with and to be honest it wasn't exactly the most organized place. There he mainly slept or read, often if he was lucky he would escape to the shop and find it empty. His ears twitched slightly at the sound of the bell but didn't wake.

Arien's ears swiveled at the sound and a slight smile quirked her lips when she spotted the sleeping male.
"Guess I was wrong," she mused then padded across the room and stopped a short distance away from him, looking over the new guy curiously. Then, satisfied with her inspection, she tiptoed forward a step or two and gave the book on his nose a quick shove, sending it to the floor.

Darius woke up with a start, his paw barely touching the spine, as the book slipped from his grasp and clattered onto the floor. "The hell b***h?" he hissed as he stretched lithely, glaring at the femme over the top of his glasses. He had a delightful dream about dangling Synth over a boiling pot of water with a string. He let out a sigh, "Sorry for snapping at you....I just don't like being woken up from a nap" he grumbled dryly.

"As one can obviously tell," Arien replied just as dryly, an eyebrow raised, then she turned and sauntered away making for the kitchen and the cookies that were sure to be stashed in there somewhere.
"Rude," Arien muttered when she was out of earshot, the slightly sadistic smile returning to her features. Humming, the female tem entered the kitchen and began a thorough search.

Darius pushed his glasses up and let out a sigh. The female was interesting, intrigued by her nature he rose and made his way into the kitchen. Pawing open a drawer he pulled out a small package of tea leaves.
After he prepared his tea, he sat on his rear and swished his tails back and forth. "Anywhore," he said turning his head to the fem "Who're you?" he asked.

Arien heard him enter behind but paid him no mind, instead focusing on her mission. And finally, at long last, she came across a tin of homemade chocolate chip cookies. If she wasn't mistaken, these were a product of her owner.
Sniffing appreciatively, she selected a couple then replaced the top and put the tin away before deigning to turn around and face him, her expression cool.
"You know, it's more polite to introduce oneself first before asking someone's name," she informed him then moved to find a glass for some milk. One just could not have cookies without a cold glass of milk..

Darius took the tea bag out and chucked into the sink. Flickering his gaze to the fem again he sighed, "If I must..." he said sardonicaly. "M'names Darius." Stretching up onto the counter and adding two teaspoons of sugar he spun around, walked over and grabbed the milk. Pouring a small amount of the liquid into his cup.
Giving it back to the fem he stirred the holy British solution and let out a happy sigh as he took a sip.

Arien hadn't even begun to pour yet when suddenly the milk carton was no longer in her paws. Narrowing her eyes slightly, she watched the cocky male, the cogs in her head turning. But then the moment passed and she continued with the task of pouring herself a glass of milk, deciding for now to hold off on getting on his bad side.
"Arien," she said then broke a cookie in half and dipped part of it into the milk. "Pleased, I'm sure."

Darius let out a soft smile, "Enchanted to meet you. Pretty name for a pretty girl~" he teased, flicking his tails back and forth. Taking a sip of his, he let out another sigh of bliss. "Tea is gooood" he said.

Arien's eyebrows lifted and the corners of her mouth quirked.
"Thanks for the compliment, I s'pose. But you make a prettier girl than I do, Dare," she replied, wiping crumbs from her paw onto her chest fur before reaching out to toy with his forelock.
"And you can keep your tea," she added with a grimace. "I don't much care for it."

Darius let out a sigh, it wasn't like his long flowing mane hadn't been the cause of many insults as a kid but he was over it now. "Thanks so much" he said sarcastically, his eyes crossing slightly as they swiveled up to stare at his forelock.
"What?! You don't like tea?" he exclaimed, a look of shock appearing on his features. "Shun the non believerrrr~, shuuuuuuun" he hisssed drly, hovering over his cup protectively.

Arien rolled her eyes at his dramatic display then split the second cookie and dunked half into her glass of milk.
"Oh quit with the theatrics. I just don't care for it. I think it's because Elros always forces a cup of the stuff on me when I'm sick. I'm sure it's a perfectly good beverage. It's just guilty by association," she reasoned then bit into the milk-soaked cookie with a sigh of delight.

Darius blinked, that was a fairly logical reason, and he treasured reason beyond all else; even tea. "That makes sense." he said with a nod. Stretching lithely he turned to her "Can I have a part of your cookie?" he asked, giving her "puppy eyes" as far as he was capable of.

Arien rolled her eyes at his poorly executed attempt at "the puppy dog eyes", chuckling lightly as she finished off the first half of the cookie then dunked the second into the milk.
"You need practice at that," she observed, amused. "Still, 'A' for effort. Here." Grinning, Arien passed him one of her cookies.
