This is a private RP between Cricket2008 and Miroke.  Delphin scraped at the rocks in the cave with his claw. He'd found a few samples of jade on his scouting strip to find a likely place to do some serious digging. His pet unicorn followed nearby, momentarily distracted by a bug.

 Chantelle noses around the mines trying to find some Jade having no such luck. She really wanted to make this necklace she saw this chick wearing but totally make the look hers.

Delphin heard some footsteps in the direction of the entrance. Coming around a curve in the cave, he saw a black Chi'lin sniffing around the rocks. She had an amazing red plume of a tail. Normally, he didn't spend too much time with females. He was usually too busy categorizing his diggings and rocks.
"Hello there. What are you looking for?"

She glances over to find another Chi'lin hanging around. He was pretty hot too. "Me? 'm just looking for some jade for a nice piece I wanna make. You?" She debated flirting but she betted he was a stiff rock worker, pretty preppy looking too. She liked the cross on his nose though.

"I'm scouting for likely places to do some digging for jade." It piqued his interest that someone else was interested in finding gems like him. "Do you make your own jewelry?"

"OF COURSE! I am not like those cheap chicks that just buy it! I make my own but I saw this girl with this really crappy jade necklace but with a good design so I am going to top her. I want to find some black opal too if I can but I doubt it. So you are looking too! What for?" she asks walking over.

"I'm looking for jade too. You'll find small pieces around here," Delphin indicated the area of the tunnel they were in. "If you go further in to where it opens up into a cave, that's where the bigger pieces are." Delphin was distracted by her sleek black mane rippling in a slight breeze that blew through the tunnel. He blinked, hoping he hadn't been caught staring. "I could show you," he suggested.

"I don't know how big a piece we'll be able to find, but I'll help you look. It's down this way." He turned to walk back down the tunnel. "I'm Delphin, by the way," he replied over his shoulder to her question. "What's your name?"

Chantelle follows him down getting a nice view on the way there."Well thanks anyways, your help is really appreciated. Maybe if we find a big chunk I will make you a piece too, Delphin." She says completely ignoring his question.

Delphin leads the way into a large cavern. The unicorn scampers past them into the area littered with boulders of all sizes. Delphin wasn't sure if she hadn't heard his question or if she just didn't bother to answer. No matter, he thought to himself. The company was nice to have.
He turned to the white faced Chi'lin. "Many of these rocks are jade. If you scratch them," he demonstrated by drawing his claws across the surface of a nearby stone, exposing trails of green, "you can see what shade of jade they are." The unicorn bounced by, kicking and scattering stones. Some of the stones shattered into small pieces. "And you have to be careful which ones you choose because some are flawed and will just break apart when you try to polish them."

"OH wow, you're being mondo helpful. Thanks a bunch! I didn't know there was this many in an area like this." she scratches a patch a nice color but very flawed. She slams into them with her back hoofs cracking all of it to show some nicer stuff behind it. "perfect! Now, how to get a big piece." she then starts chipping away at the flawed chunks still coming off scrapping trying to find a way to get it out.

He wasn't sure what mondo meant, but he was sure it sounded like a compliment. She seemed happy with what she'd found. "Try digging behind it." Delphin showed her how to get behind the rock and jostle it loose. "If you can get it pried away from the rest, you can take it and cut it into shapes later."

"Ok, I think I got it" she says squeezing in next to him. She jars it loose with a lot of effort which includes weeping herself of her own feet."OWW! Damn I am not freaking coordinated. Nice piece though." she lifts up a gorgeous piece of jade varying form dark to light with no fractures in it. "Niicccee Thanks again Del. I wanna show you the finished piece later, plus I got lots so I should be able to make you a small piece for helping." she says with a wink and she gets up and saunters out.

Delphin was caught off guard when the dark female squeezed in next to him. When she lost her footing, she was back on her feet before Delphin could offer any help. He was about comment on the lovely chunk of jade she found when she winked at him and he totally forgot what he was going to say.
Before he could gather his thoughts, she was on her way out of the cave. He sighed and watched her lovely tail swishing back and forth as she sauntered away.
