there is a saying that because hamsters can squeese through small places and the reason they are so soft is because they have no backbone. i think it might be just a "saying" tho razz

Yeah, I kinda dont think its true b/c when I had my hampster, I would rub her back and it felt all boney....just my opinon

Hamsterso have backbones, there just very small and flexible. the reason they can fit through small spaces is because there not as big as they look lol. One of my hamsters, rosie, managed to find her way under the floor boards and the only way she could of got there was through the tinyest gap ever XD  thats my long haired syrian rosie

Awww, Rosie is soo cute xD I luv hamsters! yea my hamster zippy can squeese through my hand so easily and she never stops moving around! she just keeps on moving, she's aweshum! welcome to TFCG razz

i know, shes a bugger though, she might be having little hammie babys soon aswell XD cause i decided to find a jim for rosie, but i came home with jim, john, dollie and pollie :S
