Noises,
Clear and crisp,
Some are low,
Then again how would I know?
Silence engulfs my ears,
It’s overwhelming,
I see faces,
Friendly and proud,
Their lips move,
Gracefully and swiftly,
But only the dreadful silence is heard.
I sit at the table,
Wooden and brown,
Silently you join me,
Sadly I sigh as I ignore you.
You desperately try to understand,
But you can’t,
It’s completely out of your reach.
This is my little world,
A place you can not go,
You don’t know the way,
Though, neither do I.
Silent tears are cried at night,
Sacred vows become broken,
Franticly you search for a way,
A way to understand what I’m trying to convey.
You can’t,
There is no adjective strong enough,
No word can tell you how I feel,
Alone,
Abandoned,
Those aren’t even the start.
I can not hear,
So I can not tell,
Deaf is my ears.
And mute is my voice.
All you can do is Guess.
