A few moments passed before Ryan "the Icon"s music hit. Several more moments went by and he didn't show up. Eventually Dauth rolled out of the ring and the music stopped as he picked up a mic. "Come on now, there's no reason that this guy can't be out here right now! It's not as though some completely random, unrelated, unprovoked, vicious mauling took place on him just a few moments ago!"

A video appeared on the screen. Ryan is heading towards the ring when suddenly he is struck with a steel chair in the back of his head. The assailant, Dauth, stands above the man as he continues to hit him with the chair. He tosses the chair aside and mounts the man, beating his head in with his fist. He stomps his head and drags him to a thin wall, and proceeds to prop him up. The camera stays on Ryan against the wall as Dauth steps out of the picture. A couple seconds later Dauth is shown flying full force at the Icon, using all of his body weight and strength to throw a vicious elbow to his head. Both men crash through the wall, but Dauth gets right back on his feet and crawls out of the carnage and walks away as security and medics rush to the scene.

Dauth, in the ring, proceeds to speak once more. "Oh wait, yeah. That's right. That actually happened. My bad. Well, what can I say? I couldn't help it. It's not like anything different would've happened out here in the ring anyway." Dauth drops the mic and rolls out of the ring, exiting through the crowd to a large amount of boo's.
