hey guys. theres this thing...anyway... i think it fallowed me home after helping out a friend....and its like,,.....YARG! I SHALL EAT CHU! no not really but close enough. any clues what the flying pickle it is? its....redishy yellowy eyes and...miz of black color and brown....idk which one more. evil

well, i guess you could call it a shadow person, but thats not realyl what it is. this one is full of malice. it seems like it wants to get revenge at every thing even if they or it doesnt do anything to hrut the shadow dude. OH. this is randome, but if a person has a shitty life, *PARDON THE FREANCH* but do they stay behind and most likely become bad?

Not necessarily.
If a person has attachments to the world. For example: If there was a loved one left behind, or, if the deceased has a problem left unfinished.
A problem left unfinished could entail that they wanted to tell a person something or anything of that manner.
A spirit could also not 'pass on' if they don't accept the fact that they have passed on. This could happen if they have a strong attachment to the living world, or if they died traumatically. Traumatic death can cause spirit-shock.
These, are solely what I have experienced and found myself. Though, as you can imagine there are other religions and sects that could differ from my assumptions.

At least not a good one. It's a matter of belief. Sounds like you're referencing the concept of "unfinished business", which is ever-so-popular in Hollywood.

I checked for the thread, but couldn't find it. The logs don't go back far enough, though. I'm pretty sure it was before 2006. It was back when the guild was pretty active and Beamer and Immortal were still around. The girl posted a few times sounding very desperate and scared, and then just stopped. She logged on a few times after that, but then I think she stopped that, too. My point is that her descriptions and the information she was giving us was very sketchy and we often questioned her motives. Not saying that So-chan is full of s**t or anything. I'm just saying that I see a striking similarity. I wish I could remember more about what she said. There was some sort of burn or rash it gave her, and I was thinking (based on a few other things she said) about sulfur reaction. Oh well.

Back to the topic at hand, you have a few options on what to do. 1.) Create a shield around yourself that repels the thing (which I will now refer to it as). 2.) Create a shield around the thing that essentially limits its movement to one small area. 3.) Try and communicate with the thing and figure out what it wants, then get rid of it that way. 4.) "Kill" the thing.

Well, as far as shielding goes, pretty much just imagine a sphere around yourself that can repel anything. The better you can imagine it, the better the shield is.
