Pet: Michel keeps a snow-white owl called 'Madonna'.

Personality: Michel is an easily likeable sort. Although not necessarily the most outgoing, he is by no means reserved and will not hesitate to make his opinions (of which he has many) well known. He is generally polite, corteous and chatty - sometimes almost too chatty, it would seem; this can lead to people thinking that he doesn't take life seriously, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Michel is also very well spoken due to being raised with a privelleged background. However, there is a side to Michel that few but his closest friends are aware of - he is a manic depressive and sometimes has been known to make life hard for himself.

Likes: Michel's main love is for music, although he is avid admirer of language and art. He tends to read a lot, and has a love of classical literature in English, French and German. He is studying to learn Russian in his spare time. His friends also think that he's far too obsessed with 'hot boys'.

Dislikes: Michel has a passionate hatred of people who judge others on face value, of cruelty to others and of predjudice. Michel says he hates a lot of things, but really there is nothing he hates more than to see others who feel victimised or alone.

Fears: Michel thrives off of being around others whom he cares about, and whom care about him in return. His greatest fear, therefore, is being alone.

Biography: Michel has travelled alot in his short life. He was born in Luxembourg to parents of high standing - as a result of being born into wealth he has never gone without anything, or at least anything material. Growing up, he learnt to speak fluently in not only the luxembourgish dialect but in English, French and German also. At age 9 his family moved to Paris, where Michel lived for two years, after which they moved to England in order for him to be enrolled in Hogwarts school - his parents wished to ensure him the best possible magical tuition. He comes from a 'pure blood' wizarding family.

Alexis excelled at Kallaix in sorcery, a music and movement based wizardy taken from the indigenous people of australia.

Personality: Crystal is very kind hearted towards others but she is impatient, short tempered, and stubborn. She listens to other people but when it concerns her life she doesn't care about people's decisions for her. She's passionate and gets jealous very easily. She's very smart and always has top grades out of the school, outgoing, and funny. She's the girl that any guy would want to be with.

Likes: Magic, laptop, keyboard, Qudditch, iPod, tv, and food.
Dislikes: The Ministry of Magic (you'll find out why if you want to RPG with me)

Fears: The locket she had gotten from her father, Voldemort, thunderstorms, and the nightmares she has about her mother.

Biography: Crystal is your average 15 year old girl. She use to live in London with her mother and father until her mother had gotten killed by Voldemort when she was an infant (a moon scar is shown on her right shoulder). Like Harry, she survived the killing curse and lived in America until she was 14 and then she went to Hogwarts. She was picked to join the Slytherin house and has befriended Chasity and Alice her roomates (you'll find out about them in the story). Even though her mother is dead (and supposedly her dad) She is an arranged marriage with Scorpious Malfoy and doesn't want to be. She also is trying to avenge her mother's death by killing Voldemort.

Personality: Daisuke is very ambitious and intelligent, but rather impatient. He is an overachiever and often pushes himself too far. He is quick to react to situations and quick to judge people, and very rarely second-guesses himself or looks before he leaps. He is good at making friends but not good at keeping them.
Likes: Ferrets, marshmallows, running, learning new spells, getting good grades

Fears: Having a weakness.
Biography: Daisuke was named after his grandfather, a very powerful wizard and well-known Healer. His grandfather was his mentor and Daisuke once dreamed of following in his footsteps. However, Daisuke's grandfather died of old age shortly before the young boy started attending Hogwarts. When his parents put him under the pressure of measuring up to his sibling's exceptional academic level, the Daisuke's devastation and grief quickly turned to anger and resentment towards his grandfather for 'abandoning' him to parents who didn't appreciate him. It is Daisuke's ambition to surpass his grandfather's achievements and prove himself not only superior to his siblings but also to the grandfather who was too weak to stay alive for his youngest grandson.

Personality: Gemma is usually kind and caring towards others, and makes friends fairly easily if she wants. Though she is most outgoing, she is shyer when she meets someone new. Even if she hasn't gone through the same situations as others may have, she understands pain and only feels better if she can comfort others. She doesn't like having people touch her, and gets headaches easily. She is also one-hundred percent German, and occasionally will burst out in the language if she forgets.

Biography: Gemma was raised in the worst part of her town. Her mother was always gone working, trying to keep Gemma and Gemma's father well fed and clothed. Gemma and her mother were both abused by Gemma's father, and after her mother died, Gemma was left to fend by herself. She ran away, and lived the rest of her childhood happily with an woman who never had any children but always wanted them. She was called stupid in school because of her lack of education, and though that hurt, it only made her want to try harder. She became the top of her class, and never once had any mess-ups on her tests, even when she didn't know the answers. Helpful it was, yet very strange. Her younger childhood always made permanent scars of fear, and she has always been a bit jumpy to louder noises and people touching her. Thrilled as she was when she got her letter, she was also a bit sad that she had to leave the life that she had spent the scraps of her childhood rebuilding.

Biography: Nicole is your average teenage girl. She was born and raised in London, and had always lived with her parents and her older brother who graduated (I guess that would be the word...) from Hogwarts 2 years earlier. Her parents love her and support her and only want whats best for her. But now she has to go to a new place and fight for herself and she doesn't know if she can do it.

Personality: She's really shy and quiet, so it's hard for Chandini to make friends. She is a brilliant student despite this and is very hardworking so she can be a excellent witch. If you are close to her, Chandini isn't that shy to you and actually is a chatterbox. She considers herself to be a philosopher and helps others.

Likes: Anime, sweets, magical or mythical things.
Dislikes: Hateful or ignorant people, or people who takes things for granted, too much stressful work

Biography: Chandini is muggle born, so her interest in magical things only came to herself only. Chandini lived in the heart of London, and really liked the city. She was very studious and quiet, and she was a year younger than the rest of the students in her muggle schools because she skipped a grade. She then got an acceptance letter into Hogwarts sometime later.

Appearance: She has short black hair with bangs on the right side of her face and dark brown eyes that are often confused with black. She has light caramel colored skin and has a slim figure. Her height is 5'4

Bodi is Kiara's companion. She hates not being able to stay with Kiara all day, but likes it when people scratch her behind the ears. She two years old, and still as energetic as she was when she was a kitten.

Personality:
Kiara stands up for what she believes is right. She is loyal to her friends, and a kind, caring girl in general. Don't mistreat her friends though, when that happens, her attitude completely changes and she become a protective, angry, and sometimes violent girl. Kiara is a total bookworm, and would gladly spend an entire weekend reading in the library.

Likes:
Sweet foods, soft music, reading, learning, writing, drawing, dancing, singing(when she's alone, or thinks she is alone), her friends, cute boys, and her classes.

Dislikes:
Liars, cheaters, spicy foods, loud music, bullies, pureblood snobs, snow.

Fears:
Fire, spiders, bad books.

Biography:
There isn't much to say about Kiara, well, not much that she would want said. She was born in a small town called Thorold, on the outskirts of a major city in the country of Canada. She lived with her mother and father for a few years, and on the night of her 7th birthday, her house had gone up in flames. No one could figure out what happened, or what caused it, but it had left her homeless and parentless. You see, she had been staying at her grandmother's house, while her parents had been preparing a surprise birthday party for her... And what a surprise it was, to come home and see it crumbled to the ground, blackened with soot and burns.

She lived with her grandmother after that, and when she recieved her letter from Hogwarts, at the age of eleven, they were both filled with joy. Her mother, father, and even her grandparents were purebloods, so obviously, it was good news for young Kiara to find out that shse had been accepted into the school her own parents had gone to when they had been kids.

Roleplaying Sample:
(This is not from another roleplay, it is not from this roleplay either, this is just something I am randomly writing...)

Week after week she listened to her mother nagging her to get a job. It was 'get a job or I'll kick you outta the house' or 'get a job so you can meet a nice guy and settle down'. But that wasn't what she wanted. "Lillian, get off your butt and go find a job!" Ah yes, the routine wake-up call. Lillian sat up in her bed, her hair knotted and tangled beyond belief. "Shut up already" She mumbled to herself as she slipped out of bed and walked to her closet. She pulled out a pair of blue jeans, and a black tanktop. Once she had managed to find a towel, she entered the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind her.

An hour later she emerged, fulling dressed, with her long straight black hair pulled up in a pony tail. "Lillian, are you up yet?" The shrill voice of her mother came up from the kitchen and aimed to hurt Lillian's ears. "Yea Yea Yea, I'm comin'" Lillian shouted back as she put on her regular pair of black and silver flip-flops, and began her walk downstairs to the kitchen where her mother was no doubt waiting for her with a newpaper in hand.

Appearance: Caleb has long, brown hair that is swept to one side, almost covering his eys, but doesn't quite. He has blue-green eyes, and amost permanently has a blank expression on his face. He wears faded jeans and a tee shirt under his robes, and his jeans can be seen underneath the bottom of his robes, along with his airwalk trainers. He wears faded jeans and a tee shirt when not in robes, but will also often be seen in a saints rugby shirt, as this is the muggle rugby team that he supports.

Wand: 12 inch, willow, Erumpent horn centre; The wand is good for offensive magic because of this (sectumsempra, expelliramus, etc), but is experimental, as it could explode if used incorrectly. Caleb is, for this reason, unwilling to go near any source of non-magical flame whilst carrying his wand.

Personality: Caleb usually has a blank expression on his face, and it can often mean that someone has to physically touch him for him to realise that he is being spoken to. This doesn't mean that he is uncaring though, quite the opposite in fact. He cares deeply for his friends, and will usually try to help people in need. This though, doesn't mean that he doen't know how to fight! he grew up with working class londoners, and had to learn to defend himself. He will often resolve a bad situation by decking his assailant, instead of using his wand.
Likes: Potions, Transfiguration and Care of magical creatures classes. Small(ish) spaces. Being with his friends. Rugby, his favourite team being the Saints. He also enjoys reading, his favourite muggle written books being Powder Monkey and the Cherub series.
Dislikes: Being alone in large rooms. History of magic, astronomy and divination classes. His mother. Formal events.

Fears: The third coming of Lord Voldemort.

Biography: His father was a famous wizard, his mother a rich muggle, but his father died when Caleb was but a bump in his mother's womb. Neither of them knew that his father was a wizard until his first year of hogwarts. Much to his mother's displeasure, he spent his childhood bunking off of school and hanging around with, as his mother called them, 'those working class filth.' He never went without as a young child, but his mother, although she still loves him, would often leave him to his own devices, so although he always had his favourite labels, his mother would generally ignore him. The only time they were together was when his mother had guests, which was one or two times every month. Much to Caleb's displeasure, his mother made him attend these formalities, and he was forced to be polite, corteous, and under no circumstances to forget ettiquette. His mother also tried to hook him up with the daughters (and once the son) of her upper class friends. He didn't take to any of them.

Whilst at hogwarts, he instantly made friends with Michel Delacroix, another boy from the upper class, and excelled in care of magical creatures and transfiguration. He enjoys potions, but sadly, this is not one of his great strengths. He is hoping to become an animagus later this year at Hogwarts.

Pet: A great horned owl by the name of Perseus. She gave him a green and silver bow tie so that she could easily recognize him.

Personality: Her pretty looks and sweet demeanor are all just for show. Or at least, that's what she led people to believe, almost unintentionally. Because of her Slytherin nature, she can't help but lead people on with her theatrics and be manipulative. In all honesty, Lynette really does try to be nice (Though the times she's nicest are when she doesn't say anything. As they say: Silence is Golden), but she can't help it that everything and everyone is so annoying. She can't help it that others fall so easily for her polite voice and sincere smile. "It's their own fault that they were tricked, their own fault that they let themselves be used. They were just setting themselves up for it," is what she would say. Besides having a front that she uses to deceive, Lynette is independent, not one to be easily influenced. She is a person of opinions and she lets herself be heard. She's quick to judge, and when she dislikes someone, they might not know right away, but once they do, they'll know it for the rest of their wizarding school life. Being a frank, opinionated girl, she prefers to make things loud and clear so that everyone understands. In a nutshell, Lynette is, as most would call, power obsessed. She loves being on top of things, the one who is dominant. The one in control.

When it comes to academics, Lynette isn't all about kissing up to the teachers (though it certainly helps in most cases). Having two Ravenclaw parents, her book smarts are practically hereditary, whether she wants them or not. She has the potential to be an outstanding student, but she chooses not to on a daily basis, mainly because she's lazy and doesn't feel like putting forth so much effort in something as 'trivial' as homework. Which is one of the reasons that she uses manipulation at her disposal so often. She's too lazy to do the tedious and troublesome things herself, so she gets others to do it for her. And in the more extreme cases, it's because she doesn't want to get her hands dirty. Though if said case were to give her glory, she would much rather do it herself, using her own strength. She is a person that loves being in the spotlight, but only while knowing that she rightfully earned the credit and fame herself, with her own power. It's something that has to do with her overwhelming pride and ambition.
Likes: -Charms. The only subject that she has ever excelled and took an interest in. All of the subjects seemed to boring, or to be too much work.
-Quidditch. She doesn't have a favorite team in particular, and just likes watching the sport in general, as well as playing. Her favorite position to play is the Beater, which may be surprising because of her physical appearance, but not so much judging by her personality. She likes to cause people hurt in any way possible.
-Fighting, or rather, dueling. It gives her a chance to show others what she's made of, and it's just pure enjoyment for her.
-Watching... boys? Magical or not, Lynette is still like a normal teenage girl in many ways. She's constantly staring at the good-looking guys during class, instead of paying attention to the lesson. Though her lustful staring usually is mistaken for glowing, and the silent plotting of some conspiracy against them.
Dislikes: -Being stereotyped as a Slytherin; sly and untrustworthy. She's trying to break out of it though, without having to result to acting like a stupid Gryffindor or a goody-good Ravenclaw. All and all, she thinks she's really not so bad. Like all things, it just takes some time getting used to.
-Losing. Not much to say, other than that she's just a sore loser. Like most Slytherin's, Lynette has a superiority complex, and hates it when there are people better than her.
-All of the other Houses. She's quick to judge people, so she'll use the stereotypes of the Houses' they are in as a basis, just as they do her. On occasion, she might try to get to know them better and find something likable, but most people don't care enough to approach her the second time, or even stick around the first time.
-You-know-who. Even if it's already a thing of the past, Lynette wants nothing to do with all that 'Dark Lord' business. She thinks it gives their House a bad name, labeling them as 'evil.' Really, they're not. Just superior.

Fears: Although she would like to say that she isn't afraid of anything, Lynette does fear a few things. One of them being water, or just large bodies of it. She never took the time to learn how to swim, so she has that fear of drowning.
She also fears death, for obvious reasons. No one wants to die, right? Especially with regrets, and without accomplishing anything and making herself memorable.

Biography: Born to a Japanese wizard father and an American witch mother, Lynette is half-and-half between a Japanese and an American (hence the blonde hair) in Muggle terms, and a pureblood in wizarding terms. Both of her parents had been in the Ravenclaw house during their time at Hogwarts, and they hoped both of their daughters to be the same as well. Having an older sister that was both prettier and more intelligent than her, Lynette constantly lived in her sister's shadow, watching in disgust as her parents doted on her when she was sorted into the Ravenclaw house in her first year (just as expected), became a prefect in her fifth, and Head Girl in her seventh, everything according to their parents' plans. With that kind of road layed out in front of her, that much to live up to, Lynette was supposed to have followed in the same footsteps as her sister, the footsteps of her mother and father.

Because of that, it came as a big surprise and shock to a family of all Ravenclaw when Lynette sent back an owl saying she'd been sorted into Slytherin. Her mother even went so far as to protest to the headmaster, saying that there must've been some sort of mistake. But the Sorting Hat did not lie. Though she too had been a little taken back when the the Hat shouted out the name 'Slytherin' rather than 'Ravenclaw', she soon came to understand the Hat's decision. Lynette was much more suited for Slytherin after all. If she wanted to be better than her older sister had ever been, she needed power, not knowledge. Being strong, having strength... wasn't about the number of spells you knew or the ammount of text you'd memorized, it was about having perfecting spells and utilizing them to their most powerful extent. Although she knows her parents were probably ashamed of how she'd turned out, ashamed she wasn't heading down the path they had planned, she didn't care. This was her life, and she was going to turn it in the direction that she wanted.
