Hi, everyone.
I'm Jenn. I'm 18 and an English major.
I've been writing for about 8 years; poetry for 5.
I've won a couple competitions, online and not so online. ^^;
I like to play with different styles.
Sonnets are fun, but sestinas are, like, WOW.
Anyway.

I know her ^ in real life,
I'm in college and currently a biology major.
If I get inspired with an idea I play around with it,
So most my stuff will be rough and probably very free flow,
Yea, I kinda like prose more but whatever.
Umm...maybe I'll add somethings latter.

I'm the premier Irishman here on Gaia.
Also, I'm 20 years old, and have been taking writing classes for years. I'm in a community college at the moment, but when I reach my two year transfer I'm going to become an English major.
Oh, and by the way, I don't live in Ireland. I moved to the states for college.

Hi! I'm Kaxia.
A little about me: I am a college freshman, without a single breath of a clue as to what I want to do with my life. I'm mostly into prose for my own personal writing, but I love to read poetry and my favorite poets are Tolkien, Poe, and Shakespeare.
Just to make it clear, I am a hopeless romantic, can't help it, and I am very in to the idea of the Disney "happily ever after" type stories and endings. I place the Disney and not-so-Disney princesses high on my role model list, for a myriad of reasons. On the other hand, I love Aerosmith, and the Hannibal Lecter movies are good fun.
Anyway, I'm a friendly gal who likes to meet new people, so anyone interested can send me a comment or PM.
PS, I am a big fan of the red pen, so anyone who needs some proofreading or copy editing, or general revision-type advice, can come to me, and I'll be happy to lend a hand, or in this case a pen. heart

Hello fellow poets. My name is Rorschech. Going to be 19.
Let's see....I like saying words that soud funny like Chimichanga or Kumkwat. I usually end up trying to find words that rhyme with said words.
I've been writing since middle school. [English classes and such.]
Currently going to college, planning on becoming an author.
I enjoy making limericks just for the hell of it. >_>

rawr. I'm Alice Letalis. =]
I got to college with Lucifina, and I'm an English major/Theatre minor.
I just write. I've never liked the idea of having to conform my thoughts into a specific form, although sometimes i like to write haiku just for the heck of it.
I'm kind of crazy, but you'll get used to it pretty fast. It's the good kind of crazy.
I want to be an author someday, but for now I'm trying to be an English teacher at the high school level. I think it will be really fun.

I usually gravitate toward free-form lyric poetry, but forms are always fascinating and I envy writers who can thrive in forms. I can't wait to get more advanced criticism smile

I'm Becky. I am 16 years old and I started writing poetry about 3 or 4 years ago, it was a complete accident. One day, I picked up a pencil, just started writing and, to my surprise, people said I was pretty good.
My poetry changes from day to day, sometimes I write free-form, sometimes not. I also like to dabble in all genres.
I hope to receive some constructive criticism from being here.

How can I be lost? In remembrance I relive... Hey everyone I'm Celtika Bloodmoon Au, but please call me either Cel or Dez. I'm a 28yr old Australian. I'm married (10yrs next year yay me!) and I work as a registered Nurse at my local hospital.
I've been writing poetry (scribbling as I call it) since I was around 13yrs old as I found it a good way to express my thoughts and feelings, however it is only in the last year or two I have begun sharing my written work with others so I am interested in all thoughts and comments others can give me here. I don't write very often as most of my creative release and expression comes with my 1st love which is drawing and painting, but sometimes there are just somethings that need to be written down, wouldn't you agree.
Anyway I'm going to end here to prevent me from babbling which I can to very very well! Looking forward to being as active a member as my work roster allows me to be!

Hey guys. Uhhhhh... I don't know what to say. I definately aint revealing my personal info, but in school I am best at writing and math. I've written 2 short stories throughout my entire life (one is in the art forum and one has been lost to the ages) and I live in the USA (go USA!). Anyway, if you wanted to know anything personal about me sorry, but I don't give out that kind of info. Anyways, call be Blade and currently I am a student.
