Are you serious or just trying to be a troll? I've been looking at your posts in the guild and I'm having my suspicions.
As for your pictures. They look like sock puppets or something. Far and away from what most would call "normal people" and as removed from realism as A is from Z.
Are the little marks on their cheeks supposed to be... mouths? Ye gad.
You've got a fair start, but until you sit down with some basic anatomy tutorials and practise practise practise, then practise some more you'll continue to lack skill. Learn the basics of proportion and anatomy first, THEN you can take it in whatever direction you'd like. It'll look worlds better.

I like your 2nd drawing, but the waist seemed to be out-of-shape. The 1st drawing should be okay.. except for the mouth thing. Or is it a tongue? >< Hmm... so good try! 3nodding

Like the first girl said, you should really focus on looking at anatomy and practice practice practice. Don't go totally insane practicing though. That wouldn't be good. rofl We wouldn't want you to hate drawing and feel like it's just tons of work (even though it pretty much is if you wanna create a great picture; trust me, we all struggle). First thing's first though, please stop doing those on-the-side-of-the-face mouths, especially those semi-circle ones. They are very distracting and it takes about a minute to figure out what they're supposed to be. Then, maybe you could work on trying the make the feet and hands look a little more like... um.... feet and hands. Those are your major problems at the moment. mrgreen Although, you have improved and the eyes no longer make the viewers go eek anymore. rofl Keep drawing. I think it'll pay off. mrgreen

lawl, they remind me of enlongated power puff girls, you know?
And if you want to go for realism, anatomy books really are the best, but don't think that that's the only way to go.
Draw what you want them to look like, and if something isn't quite right then don't be afraid to change it or to start over. While learning to be an artist, we all produce miles and miles of artwork (drawing, paintings, sculptures) before we get any better.
Don't give up, and always look for ways to make yourself better to your own specifications~! 3nodding

Katriana Are you serious or just trying to be a troll? I've been looking at your posts in the guild and I'm having my suspicions. As for your pictures. They look like sock puppets or something. Learn the basics of proportion and anatomy first, THEN you can take it in whatever direction you'd like. It'll look worlds better. Good lord.... was this supposed to be helpful?
Sounds to me more like an insult than a critique. "... you'll continue to lack skill"? What kind of talk is that? Do you honestly believe that anyone who has not had the artistic expieience that you have, lacks artistic skills?
And what do you mean by "'normal people'"? Is there suddenly some modern cannon that we are all supposed to follow when drawing a person?
I know that this is a guild for a specific art form, but the formula for drawing Anime-ic characters not the only way of doing things. To scrutinize that the way that someone else drew something because it was not how you would have drawn it is as unhelpful as it is rude.
I'm sorry if you see this as an attack upon your person, because I assure you that it is not. I merely wanted to let you know that as a moderator of a guild that is supposed to help people, you are expected to be more professional than this.
And although your advice was good, it would have been better without the insults.

Those are cute, although I have my strange suspicions as to what those squares are ( alien zombie face suckers ). You'd do pretty well if you opened up a chibi-avi art shop.

Your anatomy needs some work. Barnes and Noble is a great place to get drawing books.
