Eyal prowled through the tall grasses. So far he hadn't come along any prey and it was starting to make him irritable. He'd been out hunting for more then a few days. Ever since the cub he'd met told him this area had plenty of food. He shouldn't have listened to a cub that didn't know about anything outside her jungle.
It was twilight. A harder time for him to hunt but there was no time to think about that now. He lifted his shaggy maned head, glancing around. He thought he'd caught the scent of another male. "Hello?" He calls a bit gruffly before jumping onto a large rock and looking around.

That call scared a flock of birds into the air that alerted the gazelles that had been grazing just around the other side of a stand of stunted trees and Barakillian growled as he watched his meal run off. Prey was scarce in this area but he'd managed to find a small herd of gazelle, stalk them and had been preparing to bring down an injured doe when that call rang out.
Eyes narrowed in irritation, he stood and crept back into the trees, searching for the source of annoyance.

Eyal glanced over catching sight of a very... unique colored lion. His tail flickered as he watched the male, sensing a bit of aggression from him. He moves into a defensive stance. Ready and waiting should the male try to strike. "Hello..." He calls again voice harboring no ill intent. He's got a scar on his shoulder along with a strange tattoo. His flank has three longer scars, too wide to be from a lion.
He shakes his red mane, eyes narrowed at the new male. "Is this your territory?"
