Teirs matter to me why? I'm not saying their all BS, just wondering how a few peopls' opinions are going to affect my playing ability...

Well, MK has always dominated the tournament scene. The tier list shouldn't effect someones choice on character, and if it does, they don't really understand what the tier list is.


Well, it's not just opinions. This time around, especially, it's based heavily on tournament placings, and then character analysis. But yeah, the tier list shouldn't affect your choice of character. My character being low tier doesn't make me worse with him.

And just remember that this is a very early tier list, and is subject to change. It WILL change, in fact. I personally think it's a little too early for a tier list; I think there should be a year before a list is decided upon. Six or so months isn't enough.

And the tier list doesn't affect that. You keep using your favorite character, regardless of what the tier list says 3nodding

Wario is seriously the king of mindgames. It's ridiculous.

I find this all rediculously laughible. I think it's all BS. This list is more a "fad" list, and I hate fads wil a passion. My greatest rival makes Ness and Sonic look amazingly good. And Toon Link and Fox sould be higher up. And Olimar should be lower. I find him practically useless. That's just my 2 cents.

I am sure there are hidden aspects to the game I do not see, but I am on the game recularly, and me and a few friends of mine are always coming up with new tricks and making observations of our own. There are more weaknesses to Olimar then just his recovery. I am not saying he is horrid, but in my hands he is. lol I just have yet to seen any really good players that use him.

I do know that Sonic is a very used character, but he is very good. His speed and recovery are amazing and his rapid attacks will quickly rake up damage. The down side is his lack of smash attacks. Though, with good timing, that is not a huge problem.

Pikachu seems to be more of a problem than any other character. Reason for that is his electric attacks take priority over most other attacks. The best way to best him is with projectiles. Reflectors also come in handy when he uses his Down special and normal special, but in close range, Pikachu's down smash will often take priority.

I am sure Fox will move up in the list. I play with him constantly and am very please with his combos and abilities. A nice combination of speed, powerful smash attacks, and rapid attacks. He can deal alot of damage in a short time, and send characters flying. His ariel down smash will hit opponents over and over and drag persuers down to the stage where Fox can finish the combo with either a down smash, knocking them away, or with an up smash, sending them upward.

Note, though, these are just from my experiences and may be a tad bias. But, that's the whole reason we have debates, isn't it? lol
