 Dellia huffed faintly as she looked around the wide open plains. This place was so new and strange, almost as strange as the people she had met. Oh she liked her new herd but damnit all of them were so freaking goshy and in love! Everyone of them save the wolf and the goofy stallion were sickeningly sweet in love with their blasted mates.
What in the world was so great about mates?! Devoting your every waking moment to one person?! The fiesty little mare snorted shaking out her curly mane before she kicked up her heels and began to run across the grassland, her creamy tail flagging behind her as she seemed to race the wind.

While his son was out on an 'adventure' of some sort, Gojyo had ventured away from his teepee as well. Figuring he would go to a location he hadn't been before, he ventured through the forest, past the river and soon found himself at an open plain. He stood at the opening of the wide space for a moment before eventually trotting out into the open.
Red eyes scanned his surroundings as he ventured further out into the plain, checking for anything 'out of place'. How could anything live here though... it was so empty. With a small flick of his tail, he moved off in a slow gallop, enjoying the feeling of the wind in his red mane and tail.

A flash of red caught Dellia's eye causing her to slow to a canter, then a trot as she turned her head to look. Well hello there handsome! A smile crossed the end of her muzzle as she looked the stallion over. Some mares might find his clothing odd, but one of the stallions in her new herd wore two legger clothing as well so she didn't find it too unusually that another stallion in this strange land did.
Flicking her tail carefully to make sure she looked presentable, Dellia trotted around to double back the way she had came from. Feigning surprise at finding another out in the open plains she snorted drawing her head up as her eyes widened, " Well hello! I thought I was all alone out here."

After some time, the stallion slowed his gait to a trot when he realized that he was running in complete nothingness, there was no way he was going to meet anyone. Or was he? Up ahead of him, a figure could be seen coming into view and getting closer. The uni eventually came to a stop as he watched the other, seemingly, come toward him.
As the other got closer, a smirk seemed to form on his lips, sniffing that this other was female. With a flick of his tail, he trotted once again, to meet this other half way. Upon approaching the painted mare, he smiled and bowed his head to her. "Hello to you as well. It seems that you're not the only one who believed that there was no one else around here."

Dellia's smile widened as she got a good look at the stallion. Oh he was stunning and friendly, the day was looking up! She curved her neck faintly, swishing her tail as she trotted closer.
"Well I am new around here so it is easy for me to be surprised to find someone else in an area where I thought there was no one."

Gojyo trotted up to her and stopped just a foot away from her, taking in her markings fully. He lifted his head and smiled warmly to her. "Well... let me be the first to welcome you to this land if no one already has."

Dellia chuckled with a lazy smile "You would be the first, but hopefully not the last." Her copper eyes danced with challenge and amusement. There let him think on that, she wanted not claim on him nor would she let him put any claim on her!

"A beautiful mare like yourself is sure to have many others 'welcoming' you to these lands." He told her, giving her a cunning smile. With a toss of his mane, he walked around her so he was at her side. "I know you said that you were new around these parts, but how do you like it here so far?"

Dellia chuckled again as she nipped at his shoulder. " Well it's nice so far. A little quieter than I am use to but that ain't always a bad thing."

Gojyo smirked at her when she nipped at his shoulder. In return, he gave her a light nudge. "Believe me, it's never too quiet for long." He told her, tail flicking lightly. Looking up briefly, he nickered lightly before looking back to her. "Care to take a walk with me?"
