FIELD SELECTION, YO!
SURVEY SAYS........
The Fire Field!
A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are very hot to touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FIRE type attacks.This field also reduces damage from WATER and ICE type attacks by 25 HP

The fire filed? Was this some sick joke by the stadium crew? It was summer, for crying out loud! There was no way Zen, or Koori for that matter, could handle this heat! The magma just seemed to be radiating hotter heat waves every second, and the metal platform only served to intensify the pit of the devil! Reluctantly, he let the Glaceon onto the field. After this battle, she was getting one heck of a cool down.
Instantly, Koori began panting. Was Zen being serious here? The fire field? She had better be getting something good out of this, even if she lost! Maybe she would even play sweet with Daddy and get him to do something to Zen for doing something this heinous to her.
"Glace..."

"Ooooooo! Fire field! We haven't been here in a while, have we?" Jen grinned at the Raichu perched on her shoulder, who, in return, cackled and jumped onto the field. It was hot, sure...but at least he wasn't an ice-type!
Tail flicking back and forth, Aeon started making faces at the poor Glaceon while doing a mini-version of the electric slide to avoid paw burns.
"Heya Zen!" She waved to her companion from her section of the field. "Ya ready to battle?! I won't go easy on ya!"
"RAIRAI!" Aeon seconded this with a fist-pump into the air.

"Like I expected you too, Jen!" Zen called from his side, done taking his pants off, so that he was only wearing those nice work out shorts that people play basketball in.
Koori glared at this old Raichu. Was he mocking her because of her type! That jerk! She was gonna rip him piece by piece!
"Alright Koori, start it off with something...venomous." Zen smirked, knowing that Koori would go all out on Aeon. She didn;t like mocking all that well.
Koori smirked in unison with her trainer, feeling the bile rising from her throat to her mouth, where s mixture of chemicals was being swished around, giving it the typical purple color. With a loud 'GACK' she spit it out at the raichu, hacking a bit at the taste. [1000/1000]

Aeon instantly bounced out of the way as the ugly blob of purple came in his general direction. Jumping to a more higher up platform, Aeon grinned and slapped his bum at Koori; mocking this pokemon was really fun, especially if he managed to get his opponent all worked up and frustrated!
"Looks like Koori had a nasty hairball!" Jen wagged a finger at Zen with a stern expression. "You shouldn't aim things like that at Aeon! You could have put his eye out!"
"RAICHURAI!"
"Well...his other eye! Anyhow, it's our turn!" Jen grinned and waved her hand before pointing at Koori. "AEON! Give her a shiny! IRON TAIL!"
"RAI!" His tail began to glow a silver/white as Aeon jumped down towards the glaceon; spinning in mid-air, the older Raichu lashed out with the whip-like tail as he got closer with the intent of causing hurt.

"Koori, move!" Zen called, wincing as he saw the tip of Aeon's tail hit Koori on the leg. Where he had hit, there was a nasty cut in her leg, seeping blood. Ouch.
"Okay Koori, show him a Shadow Ball!" Zen called, grinning at Jen. He would come back with some witty comeback later.
Koori winced as her foot hit the ground, sending a searing pain through it. Stupid old man! Immediately, she began to charge her shadow ball, the black gunk gathering in her mouth before being violently forced out by a chilly blast of wind for momentum. As well as to get the funky taste out of her mouth. [850/1000]

Blowing a razzberry at Koori, Aeon cartwheeled off the pillar and down to the net below. Using it like a spring, Aeon enhanced his jump and landed on another platform a bit of ways off from where he had started.
"What? C'mon Zenny-poo-poo! You can do better than that!" Grinning wider, Jen waved her hand again. "Aeon! Show her your own long-range attack! Use Thunderbolt!"
The dry air simply added to the static discharge as Aeon got down on all fours and charged up the attack before letting it loose in a blast of blue/white lightning while doing a battle cry at the top of his lungs

Zen growled at his nickname, shaking his fist at Jen. "Oi, didn't I tell you not to call me that? Jenny-pie?" He mocked, using her own hated pet name.
"Koori, this is easy! Sidestep and Bite!"
Easily bypassing the static discharge aimed her way, Koori lunged forward, glad to finally be able to get Physical. The old man was going to regret screwing with her now!

Aeon let out a loud yeowl of pain as Koori's sharp fangs bit into his arm. Hissing angrily at the ice-type pokemon, Aeon was half-tempted to rip open the net and send her flying towards the magma head-on. With that, he started shaking and flailing his arm, trying to get the Glaceon to let go! HE HAD ENOUGH SCARS AS IT IS!
Jen flushed at the undesired nickname and flung Aeon's empty pokeball at Zen from across the field. "I told you a thousand times! NEVER EVER CALL ME THAT!" Fuming, the trainer shot a death glare at her friend/rival before pointing at her Raichu. "AEON! USE STRENGTH!"
FINALLY! Time to teach this jaw-locked bugger of a pokemon a thing or two! Grabbing and looping his free arm around her waist, Aeon pulled as hard as he could; wincing as her teeth scraped up his arm badly, the Raichu quickly grabbed her by the tail with the injured arm and, after gathering power by spinning, flung the ice pokemon straight towards one of the rock pillars.

"Recover!" Zen shouted as Koori was sent soaring through the air. Somewhat gracefully, she flipped somersaulted and landed on the rock pillar rather harshly, hissing at the pain that just seared through her legs. Dang old man. Her legs were going to be crippled when she got old if he kept up like this!
"Alright Koori, show him a your dig!" Zen called, shooting Jen an equal glare after getting hit in the eye by the stupid pokeball.
Was this guy insane? Dig through this hot crap? And where to? Ugh! She leaped from pillar to pillar, eventually meeting the one closest to Aeon, who was still on the net. Unsheathing her claws, she dug through the tough rock, until she guessed she was at Aeon's level. She pooped out, claws stretched and hackles barred. Stupid Old Man was gonna get it now!

Aeon's ears pricked up at the male humans' command and watched with his good eye as Koori bounced from pillar to pillar before disappearing into one of them. Bracing himself on the net, the Raichu balled up one of his paws and concentrated; soon, a white glow surrounded the pre-ready fist....now, all he had to do was wait....
Jen shot Zen a glare and pointed at the pokeball she had thrown at him earlier. Frankly, she was surprised the ref hadn't yelled at her about that... "ZEN! I want that pokeball back after the battle!" Casting a side glance at the field, she saw Aeon prepared and ready to launch as the Glaceon made her appearance, claws outstretched and fangs bared. Although Aeon knew what he mad to do...ah, well! Might as well do it just for formalities sake! Grinning, Jen hollared what the Raichu wanted to hear:
"AEON! USE BRICK BREAK!"
YES! With a devious smile on his face, Aeon swiftly spun around and launched his fist at the emerging Glaceon.

Crap! She missed! And that old rat was about to sock her jaw in! Twisting mid air to avoid the brunt of the attack, Koori used the momentum she was given to burrow into the next pillar. Stupid old rat! That hurt!
"Nah I like it, actually. Maybe I'll keep it." He chided, sticking it in his pocket for now. "All right Koori, give it another shot! Dig!"
Perfect. Zen wasn't such an idiot after all. She burrowed through to the top of the pillar, launching herself out. She stayed in air for a second, before turning around and drilling her way down to Aeon. [600/1000]

Yeowling as Koori nailed him hard, Aeon staggered forward a bit before spinning around to launch what could only be described as a glare of death and doom for the Glaceon before dashing away.
"Dammit!" Gripping the railing of the trainer's platform, Jen pondered a next move as Aeon climbed to the top of a platform pillar; an ugly bruise was already starting to form. Then an idea clicked in her brain: it was a TM she had bought earlier that morning, so neither of them had a chance to test it out....
But that was the thrill of battle! To TAKE RISKS! With an evil grin, Jen stood tall and did a mocking salute at Zen and Koori before pointing at Aeon, who had finished nursing his wound.
"AEON! Let's do THAT move! TM 57: CHARGE BEAM!"
"RAIRAI!" Saluting his trainer, Aeon braced himself on all fours and opened his mouth: Like Hyper Beam, a sphere of yellow/amber light formed and grew bigger as static discharge spraked from his cheeks. Lashing his tail down on the platform like it acted as the trigger, the Raichu fired the powerful beam at Koori as blue discharge added to the beams' strength.
