Love it, hate it, talk about it. Really great manga though; some really nice topics to be discussed. Or you can be here cause you need the sentimental support due to the emotional abuse of the manga. >.<

Haha, I still haven't read or watched Elfen Lied, but I keep being told it's really good and that I'll like it from my friends. They'll go,"There's lots of blood!" so I'm like "Well, I guess I'll check it out," but then I forget and never actually check it out. I will eventually get around to it. May take a few more months, but I will!

Gahh!!! That's the worst thing you could do!!! Sure it doesn't really seem appealing at first, but once you get into it, it's AMAZING. the plot moves REALLy quickly. and don't watch the anime version until after the manga, if at all. The manga version is by far much better. The ending of the anime is just... no.

Ah, I usually watch the anime first, because then I won't be disappointed. If I read the manga first then try to watch the anime its depressing. So yeah...I dunno. I like reading more anyway, so I'll decide after I finish what I'm already reading.

lol well the manga is A LOT more depressing than the anime. A LOT. It's beautifully written too.

I've only seen the anime, though I have access to the manga through various discreet channels.

I actually have a half-written article in the works on the opening sequence -- the Klimt paintings and the music together create a certain ambiance which sets the audience up for the alienation Lucy embodies.

*cough* Nevermind.

It's kind of a combination of cute and gore, isn't it? Get past the first three minutes, though, and all the severed limbs, and you have a *very* interesting story.

I'll go find the manga this summer and read it; best to have as much background as possible before submitting articles to journals.

I bought the complete anime to watch as I hadn't seen it and loved it. I made the costume for a expo once before as well that was funny.
I also released the sound played by the music box is my mates ringtone XD.
