It's just a few loose criminals, not some grand plot by the people of New Orleans to stop federal help. That said, maybe the rest of the country should stop pouring billions into helping such a poorly-located city. They got lucky with Gustav; what's to say they won't get hit with another huge one 3, 5, 10 years from now? If you want to live below sea level in a hurricane-prone area, fine, but don't expect everyone else to pay to help you when the inevitable happens.

I love the second the M-16 fired, everyone ran. Seems these people were stupid enough to try it, but not brave enough to complete it.
