Final Fantasy
Released: 1997
Story: The story centers around ex-solider Cloud who works as a mercenary. Joining a team called Avalanche on a mission he goes against Shinra, a powerful corporation. Avalanche opposites them because Shinra's companies drain life force out of the planet killing it little by little. As the story goes on Cloud stays with the group and continues to aid them leading them all deeper into Shinra and huger opponents.
Gameplay: 3D role playing game.
Travel through a final fantasy world full of places to discover, amazing combat, wonderful music soundtrack, and fun mini games!
Basically you stroll around as "Cloud" the main character everywhere.
Battle System: Random Battles while wondering on a the world map or any dangerous area. There are many kinds of enemies. The party can only have up to 3 characters to battle with. You can choose to summon, use magic, attack (regular or later break attacks), use items, or run.
Each character have different abilities and weapons.
Characters:
Cloud- Main hero. He is a ex-member of shinra's first class Solider.
Aeris-A flower girl who lives in Midgar slum area. She is pursued by Shinra Turks since she was very young.
Tifa- A childhood friend of Cloud's. She works for Avalanche and opposes Shinra. It's because of her that Cloud joins them. She usually stays in the bar with Marlene.
Barret- Leader of the anti-shinra group called Avalanche. He dispizes what they plan to do and also hates them for the destruction of his former hometown and death of his friends and family.
Yuffie- A materia thief and a Wutai ninja who hates Shinra since her village and them are enemies.
Vincent- A former Turk. He still has regrets for some things in his past and is seen as distant and cold somewhat. He was experimented on by Shinra in which he became 'immortal'. However, he holds lots of regrets and slept for years to punish himself.
Cid- A ex-pilot who has dreamed of flying to outter space.
Cait Sith -A fortune teller cat that rides a moogle. He's robotic.
Red Xlll-A wolf or big cat like creature that's red furred and has a fire tail. He is fast and was being experimented on by Shinra. He can also talk.
Sephiroth- The number one solider of his time. He was said to have died years ago but suddenly reappears again later...however...he is a threat to the planet. Now he seeks to aid his mother Jenova in the destruction of the planet.
Music: Wonderful! The music is a great soundtrack and even was developed and re-produced differently with other ff7 series (speaking of advent children).
Rate: 10/10
This game would be rated higher if possible. The story, characters, music, even the main villian are so in-dept and interesting...it's definantly one of the best RPG's around.
I would definantly recommend this game to anyone to give it a try.
