Depends on the server.
Each server has different amounts of players, hence different amounts of stars being found, so each server also has different prices for said stars.

I have sort of a problem type question. I just got a brand new desktop computer for my b-day and it has Windows Vista on it. I downloaded Maple story on it thinking that it was okay to play it. On the site, it says that MS is compatible with Vista but, I'm having some problems. I keep getting an error when MS has a server patch. After I click okay, it automatically closes and doesn't continue. I have to re-open MS and it does the patch again and the second time it works. I can log on and can get to actually playing. I'm not even playing for ten minutes and it freezes. The first time it happened, it completely crashed my computer. The computer is fixed and running great. The second time I played, it was fine (I only played for a couple of minutes). The third time I played MS, it froze but it didn't crash my computer. For those who have Vista and MS, is there a patch out so that it makes MS more compatible to Vista??
P.S. I'm so sorry that this is long.
