So we all know there is a musical based on just about everything you can imagine. Good or otherwise. I'm just curious what are some of the weirdest musicals you've heard of? I personally have to submit: "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, it's Superman the Musical" I have the CD and it's so bad it's good! The TV version they did in the 70's however was just plain bad! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDR-XvJpqBkI'm just glad they ditched the idea of the Batman musical before it got anywhere. So who can top that?!

Oh, I forgot all about Bat Boy! Thanks for reminding me of that one. And I totally have to check out Zombie Prom, that looks hilarious!

Starlight Express is a hard concept to sell to some people, although I'm used to it so it doesn't sound so weird to me. "It's a musical about trains. On roller skates!"

That's a Webber show isn't it? I've heard it mentioned in passing. I didn't know they used roller skates though, that's awesome!

Urinetown. The only beef I have of that is the theme. Besides that, it's pretty funny.

Zombie Prom is not as bad as the Ru Paul version makes it out to be, haha. It is pretty out there, but it's quite campy.

MysticLotus Urinetown. The only beef I have of that is the theme. Besides that, it's pretty funny.
I also second Bat Boy Oooh, we actually did Urinetown at my Uni. Pretty spectacular musical, even if it's depressing as hell. I'll have to say Evil Dead: The Musical. Another Uni brought pictures from their version to a theatre convention, and even brought along their working animatronic moose head.
