Years ago the Lady Diandriel won the battle against darkness and banished The Neomancer to the shadows. And for a time the elves believed they had achieved peace, the gods and Atalantea came out of hiding, and their world was finally beginning to rebuild.
But it was not to last!
He finally broke away from his banishment, freed himself from his bonds, and he had returned. His loyal right hand, Selde Virrin, was waiting for him, and already she had extended her influence using her family to establish a Realm of Darkness for her lord.
And now they seek allies. This time he will not loose, he will destory that damned Diandriel and her Emerald Order. Thus he has established his realm of darkness, his stronghold in Nightmare Valley from which he will recruit and train his forces.

This is an open rp be dark minded ponies. If you have a pony that may be interested in joining the Realm of Darkness feel free to throw them in. But since this is technically a secret lair I ask that no one bring in 'enemies' of those joining the realm of darkness.
This is a place to be able to freely roleplay your 'dark' ponies, establish relationships and alliances and all in all to have fun if you so wish!

Deep in the shadows of his fortress, The Neomancer, The Demi god of Darkness himself, brooded. He had fallen quickly into old habits! He left the general running of his slowly growing empire to his right hand, Selde Virrin, and rarely saw others, even his two daughters.
Vlos and Sarol were currently undergoing vigerous training, despite their young age. They were learning the ways of darkness, the ways of the Drow, and they also learned a special hatred for the elves. Espicially the Emerald Elves and their leader. Already Sarol was showing promise with weapons of steel and iron, almost surpassing the drow children in her knowledge and skill. And Vlos was showing great promise in the ways of the mind, the spells and control of darkness.
Sissill spent many of her days working with her daughter, training the young dragon to use her full potential. That is, she was when Fealooke wasn't off stalking the emerald wood trying to gain favour from the elusive dark lord. Mektar Sissill didn't care about. He forged his own training, it was quite simple, he suceeded and got to live or he failed and died. The choice was his.
He had it a little rougher then Karkaras, Sil'illuths only son. The demon and recently reached adulthood and was free to roam away, which he did often, but no one interfered since he usually wandered off only for the purpose of checking on his younger brother. Though now he would also be expected to add to their ranks via finding a strong female to bear children, and bringing the strongest of them to live in the Realm of Darkness.

However, he did respect some of the females if they had earned it.[img]http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg145/gaiamlpmain/certs-nightmare/Odin.gif[/img] Odin was hanging around Adiemus since he was one of the few ponies he stuck around. The rest would be frightened of him since he was twisted in his own ways. The dark ghost boy smirked as he watched the settings.[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/Diandriel/LothinAdult.gif[/img] Lothina was near the area, but at the same time was near the enterance to the cave she dwelled in. Recently she had begun trying to figure out what had happened with the other son Dusk. She did not want any of her blood getting to the outside of the herd then being all over if it wasn't a female. The dark pony eventually got up wondering many thoughts. First off she hadn't been raised like a full normal drow, but she did learn how to kill those who got in her way, plus find a strong male, however she hated Anubis since he had given her two sons. It was a good thing he left or else she would of been tempted to poison him somehow.

He really didn't have much of any emotions left in him so he came off as pretty cold. The dark pony eventually leaped down in quiet secrecy so that Lothina wouldn't see him. He took in the child she was going to murder since he wanted an apprentice. The dark pony had no care about random breedings since he didn't mind being the watcher of the children that got rejected.

She had also heard whispers that they were a powerful society ruled by women. She purposefully gathered her herbs deep in the forest in an attempt to find out more about this gathering. She smirked to herself. She could be an asset to them, her knowledge of spells and potions strong.[IMG]http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd62/sunchaser9000/Typhon-Certed.jpg[/IMG] Typhon needed allies if he was going to wreck havoc upon his cousins. Alone, without his siblings, he could not manage to overthrow the Major Winds. The stench of power here was strong, surely something or somone here could help him with his goal. Of course, he didn't expect their aid for nothing. He was willing to scratch their backs as long as they scratched his.

Selde Virrin's ears swivel and she grins! She was currently sitting alone in her study, a large dank room for her own purposes. The walls were lined with books, old with their spines crumbling to dust. The floor was ornamented with a black throw rug decorated with intricate spider web patterns picked out in shining silver thread. The furniture was sparse, but what few pieces she had were unique in a way only the drow knew. The single chair covered with a black satin cushion was low and fashioned in a way that its many legs resembled a crouching spider. The high table had a similar effect with its legs, and it supported a myraid of objects of dark magic. Her favorite such object was on a small table all for itself, not so much as table as a pillar of black obsidian. The item as well was made of the shiny dark stone. It was a deep bowl with sharp lips, that had a unique purpose for the darkn priestess. On a hidden shelf in the pillar was settled a slender pitcher of the same stone, filled to the brim with a bright red liquid. As her blood red eyes fall on it a wicked grin splits her dark face, memories of the time when she had almost one.
She shakes her head! It was on no matter at the moment, she had no purpose for scrying. Or did she! She eyes the bowl once more. She had recently sensed many new prescenses in their little section of the valley, perhaps she should seek them out!

Lothina's ears twitched back and forth at hearing other ponies nearby. She turned her emotionless face as she caught a glimpse of Abraxas. "And I thought he was supposed to be dead for what he did." She smirked. "This just makes things more interesting." She then continued to finish making the potion so she could poison her mate that gave her two males. She would respect some of them, but they had to earn it. Adiemus she could tolerate since he was close to evil, but Dusk had more characteristics of his dad which really annoyed her.
Abraxas looked at Lothina in the cave although he did not really seem to get what was happening or why he had come to this area. He normally was considered evil because of his actions of what he had done to achieve power. The dark pony had killed 120,000 ponies in order to gain the power of dark magic.

Adiemus was still playing with Odin, although Odin's games were a little too warped. The red demon liked Odin a bit, but he wasn't one to rip off heads just for fun.
Odin eventually left the corpse of a pony who had wandered into Nightmare valley. "They shouldn't have come into nightmare valley." He paused for a moment. "Besides that...dream valley ponies are so foolish. Just like my dad, they think they can cure everything with sweets and love." He slightly scoffed.

Typhon watched the teen and baby. They were twisted. The corpse near the ground was a valuable sorce of ingredients. Many potions needed body parts to be made better.
Typhon wasn't the only one who found the body. Medea had heard the screams of the pony and came running. Fresh supplies were so hard to find these days. She looked at the two boys and snorted. Just like boys to ruin a good esophagus. Gently, she picked her way over to the body and pulled out a knife. She began cutting out the heart and liver, along with a few other things that would make good ingredients for her spell to end all men.

Sangula lurked just outside of the dark realm, opening all over her senses to drink in the ebb and flow of power that radiated from the place. Dark power... she smirked to herself. And so much potential. "I think we will have to explore this avenue," the vampire said quietly glancing at the nearly adult dragon that stood just behind her. "Dracul, you will pay our dear friends inside a little visit. Find out what they're doing and report back to me at next rising."
Dracul nodded silently and approached the area, breathing a little easier once he felt the darkness that was Sangula dissipate. The dragon entered the lair of darkness, his head help high and his eyes narrowed taking in as much as possible and ready to react to the slightest threat that dared rise up against him.

Odin watched as Medea picked through the body. He didn't have a care since either way this wasn't much entertainment playing with a dead corpse. He liked killing them more then picking at them. Eventually the ghost laughed a bit before fading off into the mist.
Adiemus watched as Odin disappeared. Perhaps he shouldn't have come, although he wanted to prove to his family that he was worthy. Only problem is they abandoned him because he took a liking to his dad.

His processors analyzed the air, detecting others near. Silently he slunk into the bushes, blending in perfectly, watching, waiting for the right time to emerge.Medea turned and noticed the ghost boy disappearing and his red friend standing there. She called out, "Watching is not nearly as much fun as doing." She motioned the yearling forward.

"Hello there," a silky voice purred watching the metallic pony with great interest. "My, my, my - tall, dark...and perhaps indestructible?" Malstra was comfortably perched in the limbs of a tree overlooking the shrubbery the iron pony attempted to hide in. She'd been raised apart for the other drows but now that the dark forces were gathering, how could she resist the call? Besides...it sounded like such fun...
