Name: Scamp
Temperment: Mischievious and playful
Story: Scamp came into the family shortly after Meesha. He was immediately adopted as Meesha's surrogate pup. To this day, the two have a very close and terribly fond relationship. As an adult, Scamp remains full of impish fun, but is seeking someone to settle down with for pups of his own. Somehow this young rascal has become a mostly responsible adult that wants a typical hum-drum life. As if it could be with him involved!




Name: Bindy
Temperment: Effusive and energetic
Story: Bindy feels very close to his older 'brother' Scamp. They are kindred spirits, though some time seperates them in age. He still prefers to play and caper in the cold weather rather than do work, just like when he was a pup. The summers can be tough, as Bindy has a very thick coat, but Talencia tends to him and keeps him sufficently cool. Like all the others in their little pack, he dotes upon Meesha.




Name:: Kayre
Temperment: Noble, dashing, and chivalrous
Story: Kayre joined Talencia's crew later in life, and is a character all his own. He sees himself as a knight in shining armor, or shining fur anyway. he keeps himself immaculately clean and works out regularly so that he can be prepared for anything. He is hoping someday to find a damsel in distress that he can sweep off her paws.




Name: Sirius
Temperment: Confused and uncertain
Story: Sirius was never especially comfortable and happy, but when Talencia gave him an experimental potion, things went from bad to worse. The poor guy goes through bouts of shame and despression about his appearance. Will his future hold the love and acceptance of someone not in his family circle, to teach him that it's what is inside that counts?




Name: Joras
Temperment: Intense and self-contained
Story: Joras is one of the litter of Ciara and Benson. He always tended to spend time alone, despite the tumble of siblings to play with. As he grew, it became clear that although he was a reserved and withdrawn wolf, subtle signs indicated the strong emotions that roiled within. Even today he keeps mostly to himself, though he watches life through intent eyes, waiting for his chance to break free and express himself.




Name: Zakoran
Temperment: Youthful, impulsive, and sprightly
Story: Zak's innate ability to change the colors of things, coupled with his flighty and rather random whims, have often created rather strange situations. He tends to be a bit ditzy, forgetting to think of others before himself, though at heart he is not a selfish soul.




Name: Aaron
Temperment: Sad and wistful
Story: This mildly melancholy boy has a slight disadvantage, as he cannot speak. He can whisper, but never shout, howl, or bark. Something has him convinced that this makes him inferior, so that though he has much love to give, he usually lets himself blend into the background. Talencia usually has her hands full with her lovable troublemakers, and calls Aaron her little wallflower.




Name: Geldan
Temperment: Bold, aggressive, and protective
Story: Geldan is a more practical sort than Kayre, and tends to look askance at the brightly colored wolf's tendancy towards flashiness and sense of style. He feels a knight is a warrior, one on the look out for trouble and not afraid to give his life or get dirty to serve the better good. Perhaps one of these days those two will be able to relate and become an undefeatable team.




Name: Taygar
Temperment: Aggressive, defensive, and saucy
Story: Taygar is the most recent addition to the pack. Talencia has to keep a close eye on him, due to his tendancy to bully the younger or weaker wolves. The shyer wolves in her crew are outright frightened of him. Despite several sessions of scolding, he seems unrepentant. What will become of this troublemaker?

A large room for a gable, it easily could contain all the wolves and Talencia too. A large, heavy bed sat proudly to one end of the room. It clearly must have been built inside the room, as it could never fit out again without destroying it. The thick mattress on top of it was often the favorite resting place of many a critter, not just wolves. Huge solid posts on each corner added to the antique and aged elegance of it. An equally antique tall chest of drawers stood not far away, stained the same deep dark color as the bed. A patchwork comforter was spread lovingly across clean sheets, welcoming visitors to hop up.

Also in the room were four bookcases, tall and deep, stacked with books of all sorts. They extended down the wall towards the windows, where a small loveseat and two oversize armchairs nestled together in a cramped if comradely fashion.

All around the room large pillows were scattered about the floor. Whether they were meant for human sitting or canine lounging was not clear. The pillows themselves were of colorful but durable fabrics, some patchwork like the quilt, and others solid colors. All had seen newer days, but none looked in bad repair.

It also was clear that other critters inhabited the space other than just the wolves. Only time would tell what other creatures Talencia had brought back with her!

Talencia bounded into the room, muttering to herself. Meesha and Morgana were curled up together in a corner, speaking the language of their kind softly. Both looked up at the racket Tal made as she snatched up a backpack and began audibly ticking off items. "Let's see, screwdriver," she dove for a small case, opened it, and put the desired object into the backpack. She stopped, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "What else? A pen, my large sketchbook...," she rustled through some drawers to get these, carefully stowing them before considering a final items. "I think the last should be that all-weather blanket and my flashlight."

From a trunk she tugged out a neatly folded blanket, the kind that is heavy duty, not especially thick but very heavy, the sort to take out for a picnic on the grass. She folded it again and tucked it in front of her large sketchbook, which braced the rear of the backpack. Opening a desk drawer, she snatched a very small but very powerful little flashlight with a wrist strap. Slipping her hand through it, she zipped up her pack and stood up to glance around.

Now noticing that the two moonlits were staring at her, she replied to their unasked question. "It's adventure time again girls! What do you think? Would you like to come?"

Meesha and Morgana looked at each other, then back to Talencia. Meesha slowly shook her head. "Meesha says she's feeling her age a bit too much as autumn cold is setting in. But I'd like to come!" Moragan answered, rising to her paws. She gently nuzzled the older she-wolf and licked her muzzle like a puppy. Moments later she was by Talencia's side, racing down the stairs and to the back porch.
