No, seriously. XP Back in the days of DragonBall, the Tenkaichi Budoukai always had pretty tough competators. Like Nam, Ranfan, etc. However! Mr. Satan managed to win in DragonBall Z (in the Tenkaichi Budoukai we didn't see). So that must mean Mr. Satan is pretty powerful! After all, it *is* a WORLD championship! And he didn't cheat or use any weapons (as far as I'm aware of). Also, Mr.Satan is a lot stronger than the regular human. I'm not saying he matches Yamcha or Kuririn, but he is strong in his own right. People say a lot of times that Mr. Satan is a weakling, and such. Compared to Vegeta or Son Goku perhaps! But if you would fight him, he would kick your a**!
And yeah, taking the victory from Gohan was wrong... I'm with you on that. XP
So respect Mr. Satan!!! xp
Any thoughts on this? blaugh

Mr. Satan may be strong but strength alone does not create heros. While he is the strongest and probably is the foremost martial-arts expert (excluding any of the Z fighters) in the world, he does not exhibit the standard characteristics of a hero. He runs away in fear in the face of a challenge and lies repeatedly to maintain his ill received fame.
You may say that he has to run since he does not come close to matching the powers of the villians in DBZ and GT, but to be fair, as Earth's "hero", he could have at least tried.
Mr. Satan may be a great warrior and an overall good person, but his cowardice and dishonesty place him outside the circle of those who truly deserve respect.

Also, he did play a pretty important part in the battle with Kid Buu.
Not only did he befriend the good Buu (who later helped fight Kid Buu), but he also pulled Vegeta out of the way so that Goku would fire the Genki Dama, and convinced the humans to contribute their energy to help form the Genki Dama in the first place.
If not for him, then Kid Buu might very well have won the fight and gone on to destroy the universe.
So, he's not as useless as he's made out to be.
Of course, I still don't like him anyway, but that's because I can't stand loud-mouths.

Me too.
If it were me, Vegeta probably would've been toast, because I don't know if I would've dragged him out of the line of fire. I would have been too worried about being killed by Kid Buu.

Well, at the very least, Vegeta would've been.
If I'm remembering the episode correctly, then Goku looked like he was just about to fire the Genki Dama with Vegeta still there, even though it was obviously tearing him up inside, before Mr. Satan found a back-bone and performed the rescue.

Miko, you have a good point there. He's indeed very strong, and normal human would be defeated. However, there's only one human that would probably beat him: his own daughter. After the Cell Games Saga, Videl started training with Adult Gohan to learn to fly (I think most of you remember.). A while after, she entered the World Tournament, and she faced Spopovich (under Babidi's spell), and Spopovich beat the crap out of her. She almost died there, and all, yada yada yada. Plus, Videl said that Gohan's really strong, but he can't beat Hercule. Gohan laughs nervously. Then Gohan thinks, Videl doesn't even realized that she's already a lot stronger than her dad.
Then again, Hercule did beat the crap out of those criminals that shot Bee the puppy when Buu witnessed the evil of men, and all.
