What are yours? Who collects them? Do you only listen to ones that were part of a game you played? Why am I asking so many questions!!??
Being nostalgic, I will always like Green Hill Zone from Sonic and the theme from Mario!
I really like the Sonic CD soundtrack (Western version, though Eastern version is good too), me and my sis use the tracks as ringtones.
I know a lot of people thought FF12 was a sucky game, but I thought the music was awesome. I seem to like a lot of soundtracks that people generally dislike, such as the tunes in Streets of Rage 3 D:
If I gotta pick a few favourites I would say they are:

The Warriors
Sonic CD
Sonic Heroes
Silent Hill 2 & 3
Jackie Chan Stuntmaster
Soul Reaver (theme Ozar Midrashim)
GTA IV theme (Eastern Connection ?)
Tomb Raider Legend (another one people seem to dislike)
Street Fighter (I like Dhalsim, Chun li and Sagat's themes best)
Soul Blade (super Khan session remix)
Devil May Cry (Time-piece tune)
What music do you guys like? I know there is way more out there that should be part of my collection!

Super Mario Bros.
Chrono Trigger
Can't say that I remember anything else memorable. Maybe a couple of Sonic titles.

Metroid Prime. /thread. Also SSBB has a tiny original soundtrack since 90% of it is taken from other games.

Well, I don't really have the music soundtracks for most of what I have (or want to listen to), so I mainly listen to the music from the actual games themselves... so a few of them are
-Pretty much any Sonic game out there
-Golden Sun
-The first Kingdom Hearts
-Fire Emblem (Blazing Swords and Sacred Stones)
-Final Fantasy (mainly FF6, but also including 1-5, Tactics, Revenant Wings, and Legends 1 & 2)
-Some Animal Crossing
-Kirby: Canvas Curse
And... Electroplankton
