So I've been installing s**t and so far everything loves me, and I go to install maple and it's like NO WE DONT LIKE YOU YOU CANT INSTALL ME. Like I install it from firefox fine but then it extracts and I don't have any button but cancel.... AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.

What edition of Vista is it? Is it a desktop or laptop computer?
Can you screen cap what it looks like?

Does it just say: "Maplestory.msi" at 99% and stays there until it says "End process"?

I like it cuz it looks pretty.
I'd just leave it up while I went to make/eat a sandwich... or something... and then if it was still up I'd just be REALLY angry. Then I'd go and try to find an older version of the program and see how that works out for me.
I'm not really good with comp-related stuffs... so don't like beat me up for giving you bad advice.

it randomly worked.
The screen stuck there forever and then RANDOMLY it worked.
And vista + maple works, it just glitches on maple a tiny bit and tells you it won't work a bit.

I don't liek Vista.
Too many things are incompatible with it and you're just trading for shiny windows.
I'll stick with XP.

Like it has a convenyent switch on the side that SHUTS OFF THE INTERNET! D<;;;;;; and when im typing i like to rest my fingers on the computer above the keabord. Ya, can't theres buttins there and there heat-sensitive and i ceep ejecting disks randomly. and if i hit random onscreen buttions my computer spases. its weird!!! >.<;; /rant this is what happends when i don't get to pick out my computer.... Buuuut ON TOPIC! Good thing it started to work and you dident have to d/l missilaniouse patches like i did for sims xD; 不幸の方 お安く

And I know lossa people who've had vista for ages and haven't had too many problems. Just have to play around with it a little. :3
I'm fine with the shiny. Appearance is a big thing for me computer wise, and this is soso much prettier. :3
