SO! We were cleaning up the threads in the guild, and I got the idea, instead of ditching the Sabbat Dishes thread, why not redo it? So thats what I'm doing. If you have a question about a recipe or how to do somethng in a recipe by all means ask! My father has been a cook for over forty (40) years, and I have a fair bit of knowledge myself, so I will answer your questions to the best of my abilities. All recipes I post, unless I state other wise, or it is a recipe for an alcoholic beverage, I have made myself. Some of them are even recipes I've come up with. ENJOY AND BREAK OUT THE BAKING STUFF!

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons dried rosemary
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Cover the chicken breasts with garlic, then sprinkle with rosemary, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Place in a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until done and juices run clear (baking time will depend on the thickness of your chicken breasts).

Broccoli cheese soup

3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
9 cups chicken stock
9 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
5 cups fresh broccoli florets
1 1/2 pounds processed cheese, shredded
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat, and mix in the flour. Reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes. Mix in the chicken stock and milk, and season with salt and white pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer about 10 minutes.
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place the broccoli in the boiling water, and cook 2 minutes, or until just tender. Remove from heat, drain, and set aside.
Gradually mix the processed cheese and Cheddar cheese into the large pot until melted. Mix in the broccoli. Continue cooking about 5 minutes.

Pumpkin Pie

1 3/4 cup mashed pumpkin
1 3/4 C. Milk
3 large eggs
1 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 t gr. nutmeg
1/2 t salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
2 tbsp sugar

bake at 425 degrees 45-55 minutes
use a toothpick about 1/2 between center & crust to check. u want to leave the center a little under cooked cause it'll settle later. really u want to go by how far into the pie is rising. watching 2 pies in a row bake i noticed by time the crust got really golden & crispy, the filling rose to where u want to test it with the toothpick.

Easy Seafood Udon Noodle Soup

Ingredients:
Udon Noodles (you can make this for 1-4 people or make it extra noodley)
1 box of Seafood Stock
1 Cup Water
Onion flakes (its in ur spice section at the store)
Green Onions
Black pepper
seaweed sheets
Soy Sauce (i use lower sodium)
Bonito Seasoning
1 package of pre-cooked shrimp or 1 fresh piece of tuna

1. In a pot bring to a simmer your seafood stock and 1 cup water. Then add noodles.

2. Once noodles are soft add onion flakes about 1-2 teaspoons
3. Add Chopped Green Onions, and about 1-2 teaspoons of black pepper.
4. Add 1 package of bonito seasoning (if it comes in a packet) if not 1-2 tablespoons will do.
5.Let simmer for a few min. Then add soysauce, i use a laddle and fill it half way for soy sauce.
7. Add Seaweed sheets, as many as you like but not too much.
6. Add shrimp or Tuna

Directions for cooking fresh tuna.
coat a frying pan with a little olive oil and sear outside of tuna.
Have a oven pre-heat to about 350 degrees.
Have a pan with foil covering and add a little olive oil, salt, pepper and a little garlic.

Once Tuna is seared place onto pan and in 5 seconds turn over. Then place into oven until full cooked and flaky.

When soup is complete add tuna last. You can also used left over in place of canned tuna because its full of yum.

This picture is what it should look like with tuna, but for this pic i had a veggie cake so i placed that in there too.
