While playing with Chalce one day, Tropica decided it's time to figure out what happened to her Parents.

"Hey Tropica... what's wrong?" Chalce took a deep breath as he neared her, prodding her gently with one paw. He wasn't entirely sure why she was acting so strange. At first he was excited to see her but now he was beginning to wonder if he had done something wrong to upset her.

Senseless Apathy "Hey Tropica... what's wrong?" Chalce took a deep breath as he neared her, prodding her gently with one paw. He wasn't entirely sure why she was acting so strange. At first he was excited to see her but now he was beginning to wonder if he had done something wrong to upset her. Tropica jumped and sighed at Chalce's touch. "Oh.... Hey Chalce... I was just wondering..... What happened to my parents?", she sighed again. " And if they're even still alive why haven't they come to find me....".

Chalce frowned at her being jumpy but decided to ignore it. Sitting back, he scratched at his ear. "Why are you wondering about a thing like that? I have my parents.. but they're not all that great. I mean, my dad can be fun.. but my mom.." He shook his head a bit. "Aren't you happy just the way you are?"

Tropica sighed and looked at him. "You know i'm happy but there's something missing.... You have your parents and what do I have? I don't have anyhting....".

"Stop being so silly! You have me, don't you? And I know Ceres likes ya." Nudges her gently with his nose, trying to comfort any way he knew how. He felt a little hurt that she felt she didn't have anyone, but he guessed he could see it from her point of view, if he had to. "I'm not all that bad.. am I?" Tries to joke.

Senseless Apathy "Stop being so silly! You have me, don't you? And I know Ceres likes ya." Nudges her gently with his nose, trying to comfort any way he knew how. He felt a little hurt that she felt she didn't have anyone, but he guessed he could see it from her point of view, if he had to. "I'm not all that bad.. am I?" Tries to joke. Tropica smiled and rubbed her head against his throat. "I know I have youi and Ceres...and I'm glad about that...but there's a gap inside me. I don't have a family. It's different for you....you've lived with your family. ", she sighed and heard his joke. " No you aren't. Your great.", she said blushing.

Truth be told, he didn't know what it was like to not have a family. He wished he could be a bit more comforting but he didn't really know what she was going through. "I'm sure you'll have a family someday... and if not you will always have me and Ceres. Even if you want to get rid of us!" He winked and then felt his cheeks grow warmer when she nuzzled against him.

Senseless Apathy He tilted his head at her and smirked a little. "No being sorry! You apologize too much." He grinned and nuzzled her cheek gently with his nose. "So hey.. lets go find your family then?" Tropica hiccuped when she felt Chalce touch her. She felt comforted by his touch. "Okay I'll stop saying sorry okay?", she asked, amused. " Okay. But we have to be careful...I can't fight so I'm defensless...".

A tear ran from her eyes as she reponded. "Well I don't know why you'd ask me if I left something out when I've never met anyone except Soliel, your mom, Iskra, Ceres, and you!", she cried. " I just thought what if we get attacked?".

"I'm sorry... outside of my family I've only met you and Iskra.." He sighed a bit. "Tropica... I'll protect you, don't worry so much.." Tropica choked, "Yes you did...", and she giggled a bit as she was pulled into a hug and she wrapped her arms around him. " I do worry to much don't I?", she tried to joke but the tears kept flowing so she closed her eyes lying her head on him, finding comfort in his heartbeat.
