 Hazard walked gently through the fields, it seemed like forever since the last time he laid eyes on the mare that he had taken quiet a fondness to. The mist was slowly rising off the lake and the moon shone brightly through the clouded sky. Shivering slightly he looked about for his beloved Ruby Moon. He had something that had been weighting on his mind since their last meeting. Looking up at the sky everything seemed to be just perfect as his thoughts lingered on the one he wanted to spend his life with. The lilies in his mouth made it hard to smile but he was smiling when he thought about the Destiny that brought them together.

 The small flutter chitters happily as she dances around the night blooming flowers excitedly, waiting for them to bloom fully so she could nuzzle them and take in the full scent. She tosses her head backward as she looks up at the rising moon with a smile on her face while wondering about her Hazard. She haven't seen him for some time now and she wants to see him. She whipped her head toward the sound of hoof-beats and cocks her head to side just by one centimeter (not that noticeable) while watching the approaching soquili, wondering if its her Hazard.
Ruby Moon felt this familiar tug on her heart, pulling her toward Hazard and a cheerful yet expectant smile appears on her face while she waits for the soquili to make itsself known to her. If it is Hazard, she will give him the usual greeting which is a glomp with a smooch.

Smiling he could see his beloved dancing for the moon. She looked just as beautiful as the first time he had laid eyes on her. That fateful night, the night when he felt that he was ready to put away all childish games and pursue her, and only her. Setting the lilies down, he called out very quietly as not to disturb her but rather let his voice carry on the wind.
"Ruby Moon?"

Ruby Moon's face lit up as the familiar voice reaches to her ears, she suddenly sprang forward tackling her love down to the ground. "Hazard!" She exclaims happily as she covers his face with kisses before she flutters off his body, hovering in front of Hazard's face with a loving smile on her face. But a familiar scent of lilies floated to her nose and she turns her head toward the lilies that is on the ground with a small 'o' of surprise formed on her muzzle. "Hazard...." She breathes as she moves slightly toward the lilies, almost like she is entranced with them.

He was so happy to see his beloved and couldn't believe the reaction he received. He knew that she would always want to greet him in that manner but it was nice to have that greeting even when it was expected. Smiling as he saw her move towards the lilies. Seeing the look on his face he looked at her and said softly,
"Those are for you...I..."
He didn't want to just blurt it out but it seemed to spill out of his mouth slowly and softly,
"I...love you Ruby Moon..."
He winced he wasn't sure how she would react. If it would scare her away or if she felt the same. Hopefully she didn't hear him she seemed very entranced in the lilies that he had laid on the ground for her.

Ruby Moon tilts her head slightly to hear Hazard's shaky comment as she buries her nose in the lilies, taking in the flowery scent and she closes her eyes happily. But her eyes snapped open and she turns her head toward Hazard with shocked look on her face. "Oh Hazard..!! I love you too!!" She squealed as she tackles him down once again, nuzzling him happily. "Does that mean we are lifemates now?" She looks down at him curiously, obviously not experienced in romance and relationship dept.

Hazard blinked for a moment, was that how it was supposed to go? Was she supposed to be that happy about him saying he loved her? And life mates....what was that?! He had no clue about any of this infact before he had even met Ruby Moon he hadn't really even learned about mates in general let alone life mates. He knew that his expression might give away the worst ideas to his beloved Ruby Moon but he wasn't sure what else to do or say so he sat there with the most confused and absolute terror stricken look on his face.
"...L...life mates?"

Ruby Moon is taken back by Hazard's confused and terror stricken look on his face and frowns at his question. "Hazard..." Ruby Moon says as she nuzzles his neck once again. "Do you want to be with me at all? Do you really mean those words 'I love you' when you uttered those words?" She looks at him with a frown on her face. The flutter stands in front of Hazard and nips at his nose then blinks when she realizes that he is probably just as clueless as she is.
"Do you even know what lifemates mean?" Ruby Moon says while trying not to grin hopefully, hoping like mad that he is clueless.. not leading her on. She kisses him once again then she let herself grow to the normal mare size so she won't have to strain herself just to look into his eyes.

Hazard shook his head. Of course he wanted to be with her. Hearing her questions made him wince, he took a little bit of offense to her question,
"Of course I love you! Why would you say that..."
Feeling her nuzzling him he smiled softly. Maybe he shouldn't have been so upset she was just asking a question. Smiling slightly and blushing,
"no...I don't know what that means...I didn't understand...I'm sorry....is Lifemate a good thing?"

Ruby Moon brightens up as Hazard confirms that he loves her and is just as clueless as she is when it comes to relationships. "Lifemating is a very good thing, Hazard.. it just means you get to be mated with a soquili you love with your entire heart and soul for the eternity.. have a family with that soquili..." She trails off as she looks dew-eyed at Hazard with a soft smile on her face. "So... are we lifemated..? Its all up to you, Hazard." She nibbles on his muzzle fondly as she moves closer to him, cuddling with him.

Hazard felt those butterflies in his stomach again. He felt the coursing heat surge through his body when Ruby Moon began to cuddle and just all in all be around him. Hadn't it just been so recently that he wanted nothing to do with mare hadn't just recently he been so preoccupied with childhood things that nothing nothing could even make him look at a mare like he was now. His smile grew large as he nuzzled his beloved back,
"Ruby...you mean the world to me. It seems like only yesterday that we met, that you pulled me out of a childhood dream. All I can think about any more is you. How I can be the best stallion for you, how I can provide what you need and want every day for you."
Nodding finally with a silly grin on his face,
"I think you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have never wanted to be more than a child until I met you, I had never believed anyone could make me want to grow up, make me love the way you have. Ruby Moon yes I think it does mean we are lifemated. And I will never make you regret a moment of being with me."

Ruby Moon finally felt very warm and comfortable along with loved when she cuddles up with Hazard, hugging his side with hers while tucking her head under his head murring happily. She continues to nuzzle him lovingly while the butterflies in her stomach slowly dies off while replaced with tingly warm sensation that spreads all over her body and wraps around her heart.
"All I need and want every day is you, Hazard.. and since I already got you, I am the most happiest mare on the earth." Ruby Moon whispers with a dreamy smile on her face. "As far as I am concerned, you are the best stallion for me.. ever. I do not think I will ever meet any other stallions like you. You are the keeper of the key to my heart." She murrs gently as she nibbles on his cheek.
Ruby Moon blushes at his comment as she beams radiantly at him while she moves to look directly in his eyes. "You are my lifemate now and I am not going to let you go." She smiles widely at him then she suddenly glomps on him, snuggling him up. "I love you so much, Hazard.. and that will NEVER change except the love I have will grow stronger and stronger with every passing day I spend with you."
