This is a stream that runs through the forest. It is a rolling stream with smooth calm parts and sections that turn into white water rapids on a river. Trees abound in the forest and varied near the water. You never know what might be found here since the great cataclysm. In the end it runs to the falls that spill down in the cove.

((I guess this is a good place for me to come in at, before joining everyone))

Creek moved through the woods, naturally going toward water, although he wasn't sure why. Rain was coming down, enough that it didn't even seem like there was a thick canopy above him. He thought that maybe his tribe had found shelter in the trees, they had done it before to hide from teh five-fingers, and he knew they always camped near water, when they could. The rain and wind were harsh, and the trees seemed to do little to defend him from them.

He tripped a few times, over roots and rocks. The forest really wasn't his favorite place. He had spent time in them, but running on the plains was more his thing. He avoided yet another branch, him being tall enough to have to do that, and soon found a creek, the water he had been sensing. Although, the creek wasn't much of a creek anymore. He could see where the usual banks were and how much the creek had already flooded. He stepped back, swearing he could senese something near by, elves, eh was sure. But his tribe wasn't there, and the waether was only getting worse.

He sought out and found a samll outcropping of rocks nearby, near a cliff, and decided to set up camp. The rocks protected him from the wind and on overhan,g plus his own tent canvas seemed good enough to shelter him from the rain. He tied the tent canvast the best he could, and weighed it down before crawling under. It didn't completely protect him, but it was ebtter than nothing. he was used to be out in storms, but this was teh worst he'd seen, second only to the cataclsym.

As Creek settled down and started to look through his pack, in search for some food to hold him through the night, a loud send struck him. His head snapped up adn around, his eyes searching teh forest that was visiable beyond his rock-tent shelter. She send came from nearby, he thought. Then more followed, a whole conversation. He heard names and commands, but one stuck out. someone was calling for help. Amongst the cahtter, he heard 'river' and hoped it was the one he was near. He didn't think he could find another in time, the rain was messing with his abilities.
He hurried out of his tent, leaving his bag on the ground, but making sure to grab his bow and arrows, and ran toward the origin of the send.

Blaze finally caught up with Dancer, treading quietly through the grass to where she kneeled crying. The sound of a rain-swolen stream carried through the trees, and scattered rays of sun shone fitfully through the breaks in the clouds and canopy. He paused for a moment, driving any hint of violence or other evils from his mind, as if holding a newborn. **That is true. And no send or action will ever change that. But that was past, and now... Now I have hands to catch you with, before you truly hit the bottom.** He sat down in front to her, and looked directly at her. **You do not have to like me. High Ones, you may even hate me if you want! Just know that I never wanted to hurt you. You are one of us, and that is all we have anymore.** His effort made, he waited for an answer.

Big blue eyes gazed at him. Tears fell from them as she looked at him. She lifted a hand as if to reach out to him but pulled it back. Dancer looked away. Would he catch her when she fell? She had her doubts. Did she hate him? Of course she didn't. It wasn't in her to hate. It seemed like forever as she agonised over what to say or do. In the end she just slumped forward into him and cried more. All she said through her tears was. *It is you. You have no faith in me. You think I'm weak and maybe I am but I still have a heart. I still feel. You scared me and I don't know. I don't know what to think about you.*

The firestarter put his arms around her, patting her gently on the back. Her words cut him up inside, and his sends became stronger, almost assertive, and he made no move to water them down. **I have more faith in you than I have in myself, and if I ever saw weakness in you, I know now that I saw wrong. Your heart, your feeling, that is where you are strong, and there is held your tiger, the same as I hold my fire. You're a healer, that is your mark; feeling. So let what you feel decide what you think.** It seemed as if a weight had lifted from his mind; something snapped back into place. His morose face curled, unshure, into a slight grin. **The sun is back for the moment. You were going to find your tiger?**

Taking a breath Dancer looked at him and nodded. She was still a bit shaken. Emotional things seemed to drain her so much more then physical issues. She placed a hand on his and squeezed it lightly. Looking at him she smiled a bit, hair streaking her face. "Yes." Her voice was low and still held a bit of sadness in it.

The grief-hardened features relaxed and split into a releived smile. Returning the grip, he stood, helping Dancer to her feet. Already his mind was putting itsself at ease; his body healed long ago, but unable to realize it, doing the same. **Do you mind if I come along? I promise I won't touch any treehoppers.**

That made her laugh a little. Remembering how Blaze almost died from the little brightly colored frog. "You can come if you like I guess." She sighed heavy trying to get all the emotions back in place. She pushed hair from her face and threw a stick back to the ground then started walking again. "It's good to be out of the cave isn't it?" Dancer led the way through the woods. Noting trees that had broken and plaves washed out she looked to Blaze. "I'm going to call for him, if he is near he might hear me." With that said she lifted her hands to cup her mouth and let out a roar. Pey might have jumped if she was here and just thinking about it placed a little smile on the Catelfs face.

Blaze simply nodded, the slight bounce in his step speaking for itsself. He put his arms up over his head, lacing the fingers together and stretching as they walked. The sun heated shafts of air, and he pulled playfully at them, stretching his mind as he stretched his body. "Good ide-" Where Pey wold have jumped, Blaze settled for a mildly amazed stare. **That was... Loud.**

Dancer just giggled a bit and blushed. Her ears straining to hear for any reply. Nothing was heard other then birds and other normal forest sounds. That made Dancer frown just a little but they haden't gone all that far she supposed. "I can do lots of animal sounds." It was one of many pointless talents she felt she had.

**Really? Well, you shure have tiger down.** Listening for a returning roar, he soon got lost in the mess of birdsong ant the thousands of tiny noises the forest made. He was still new to the pulse of life these tracts of green held, used to the sound of wind and silence the desert held. **Mabe he's hunting, and doesn't want to scare off all the game.** A thought jumped in his mind, and he shared it. **Maybe a hunt is in order. We need the meat anyways.** Secretly, he had been wanting to prove that he was just as deadly as a wolfrider, and able to provide for the common benefit just as well.

Dancers mouth watered as her stomach agreed with Blaze. Something to actualy chew and savor would be a delight. *I saw deer at the far end of the forest before the storm hit.* Her mind clearly letting Blaze know she was up for it. *But watch, Fire Bright and I would often see who could stalk the other. So if something bounds out of the brush don't strike first, look first.* The send was playful and teasing but still ment what she said. *Wouldn't it be nice to come back with something bigger then a rabbit or a squirle.* Her mind drifting off to feasts gone by and wonderous meals where food was not a problem. Dancer chuckled a bit, *Then Peyote could cook you something special and keep you warm inside and out.* She liked teasing Blaze. His blush was cute and if he got flustered it was even cuter.

Starting off in the direction she'd indicated, he sent back, his tone already a bit cautious, stealthy. **I will keep that in mind. Unless of course it turms out he really IS as hungry as we thought** The mention of Peyote brought a slight flush to his face, his composure for the moment lost. **She is good at keeping others warm.** Eager to change the subject, he tried to appear interested n the forest trees. **I am used to sand and rocks; you know the woods. What's the best way to hunt these forests?**
