Criofan had plenty of better things to do. He could be charming people out of their things, baffling them utterly and completely and laughing at their reactions, bothering Aysu by taking other people's things, or even looking at the personals advertisements. But no, he was stuck watching little Zuri. "Guardians, why?"
Little Zuri Seabrook spun around in his bright tie-dye skirt. "'cause Aysu wanted some time alone an' you're the youngest 'sides me."
"What? No 'M not, Magnus is!" And that's just how he was reminded as to why he was stuck with Zuri. "Oh, right. Magnus. Well..." Criofan glanced around the room as if it would give him some kind of excuse to leave. "Ya're still ruining my afternoon! There's plenty a' other things to do besides watch ya' dancing in a skirt!"
Hearing that made Zuri pout. "Aww. But I'm fun, right?" The little boy stared up at his adult brother with puppy dog eyes, but Criofan wouldn't budge, glancing at the wall stubbornly. The whole scene looked a little silly, admittedly. "You're a meanie, Criofan."

Mie Lien walked into the Pae HQ after a very long time. After Blake had dissappeared on her, she had spent a long time wandering the isle. She had been living by herself for so long she had finally decided to get over him and find other pae company.
Mei Lien heard voices and followed them. She stood watching the two pae argue and the one spin around in a skirt. She laughed and then covered her mouth, she hadn't laughed in a long time either.

Before Criofan even tried to argue that he was not a "meanie" as Zuri chose to describe him, Zuri turned away and looked for the source of the giggles. Once finding Mei Lien, the skirted little boy waved cheerfully. "Hi hi!" Then, he turned up to Criofan and stuck his tongue out "See, she thinks I'm funny. She haha'd!"
Criofan rolled his eyes. "I think ya're silly." Since Zuri had acknowledged their company, he decided to look in her direction and offer a simple wave of the hand. At least Zuri wasn't the only one he was stuck near now, but it was hard to play any tricks with a child naiad attached to his side.
Though Criofan hadn't particularly meant silly as a compliment, Zuri grinned and said, "Thanks, Criofan!" anyway. That was when Criofan threw his hands in the air and gave up on arguing.

Mie Lien giggled again at this sight. She hadn't been around other paes in a long while and seeing these brothers made her giggle. "Hi, I'm Mei Lien." She must have looked odd just standing there and giggling at them.

If she did look odd standing there and giggling, Criofan wasn't about to comment on it. Giving up on Zuri, he decided to reply to Mei Lien instead. "Mei Lien, eh? Well, I'm Kana."
Zuri broke into a fit of giggles when Criofan introduced himself as something totally different. "Bro, you're silly! His name is Criofan O'Kane, not Kana. He must've thought you said something different!" Zuri playfully swatted at his older brother's leg.
Zuri wouldn't even let him get away with saying a different name. This would be, indeed, impossible. Well, at least he could tease his little brother. "An' the eejit beside me is Zuri Seabrook." Zuri pouted mildly at the term, and Criofan stuck his tongue out teasingly.
(( For Reference: Eejit = Idiot ))

Mei Lien nodded at Kana. Then frowned when the child said a whole different name. She wondered why he would change it, maybe he didn't trust her? "Well, it's nice to meet you both, Zuri and Criofan." She went and found a seat. "What are you two doing today?" She hoped that she could join them and wasn't intruding.

Criofan found enjoyment in deceiving others. "Nice to meet ya' too." It was hard to tell if he was being truthful or not with the tone he was using.
The skirted naiad wouldn't give Mei Lien much of a chance to question Criofan's statement, though. Giggling, he sat down near Mei Lien. "I'm with Criofan for the day 'cause big sis Aysu wanted some 'alone time,' whatever that means. I think she's just thinking about her girlfriend!"
Well, at least Zuri was right about something. "Probably." Criofan wasn't going to bother lying to this girl, either. With Zuri around, it was useless. "Either way, 'M stuck with this kid all day. Not sure what 'M supposed to do with him." The naiad pouted mildly once again.

Mei Lien smiled, "Well that's nice of you." She could tell he wasn't happy about the situation, but Mei Lien was the kind to try and find fun everywhere is she could.
Mei Lien turned to Zuri, "Well, what would you like to do?" She would help entertain the child, he seemed like fun. She was craving fun!

Zuri clapped his hands together excitedly. "Fun stuff! Like dancing, cooking, pretending we're like super-cool ninjas, dressing up in costumes, dancing." He giggled. "Oops, I already said that one, didn't I?"
Why couldn't his brother be more interested in dressing up in costumes to fool people instead of for pretend? Costumes to fool people was actually interesting. "Ya've got quite the list lad, haven't ya'?"
The naiad didn't seem to catch Criofan's annoyance. If he did, he was chosing to ignore it. "Yup, yup! So, Mei Lien, wanna' join us? It'll be fun! There's no music though." It seemed that the child had decided what they were going to do for them.

Mei Lien giggled as she heard the whole list. She nodded to Criofan, Zuri did have quite the list. "Well, we can dance without any music." She got up and started swaying and moving her hands and feet as she closed her eyes. She didn't care if she did look silly.

"Okay!" Since Mei Lien didn't care about having music or not, Zuri wouldn't care either. He hopped out of his seat and joined Mei Lien's swaying. The little boy closed his eyes and pictured the beach. Beaches made him think of hula dancing, and therefore, his little dance began to turn into a feminine hula.
Well, at least Mei Lien was amusing Zuri. That meant he didn't have to think of anything that would entertain the young boy. Instead of dancing, he would sit down and watch Mei Lien and Zuri sway to nothing at all. It certainly amused Criofan, and he couldn't help snickering quietly..

Mei Lien opened her eyes enough to see Zuri start a hula. "Oh, hula!" She then swayed her hips and joined him in the hula dance he had started. She heard the snicker and then winked at Cirofan as she reached down for Zrui's hands.

It had been a while since anyone had winked at him. Criofan appeared briefly pensive before throwing a wink back at Mei Lien. She was keeping Zuri amused and was making him chuckle; that was good enough for Criofan.
The little naiad boy seemed to be full of giggles. He latched onto Mei Lien's hands and started to move in a circle, hoping Mei Lien would join him. "You're fun! You're funner than Criofan." Zuri stuck his tongue out at the lounging leprechaun, who only rolled his eyes in response. Nevertheless, Criofan seemed a bit happier now, but perhaps that was because he didn't need to find something to do with Zuri.

Mei Lien followed Zuri's lead and danced with him in a circle. "Oh, I bet that's not true." She said to Zuri about Criofan. "I bet this isn't his kind of fun. Maybe we can do what he likes next?" Mei Lien smiled at Cirofan and continued to go in circles with the naiad.

His kind of fun? Criofan's eyes danced. His kind of fun was tricking people out of their belongings or fooling them into believing other things. He liked playing tricks and jokes being the devious man he was, and the smirk that grew on his face told of the ideas that began to form. ...But then, he had to shake his head. Zuri and Mei Lien wouldn't want to do that...
Zuri giggled. "Okay Mei Lien, but I'm not sure what his kind of fun is. He's a leprechaun, after all! You know, those tricky peoples." He really didn't know what the leprechaun legend detailed, he just knew that it involved smart little Irishmen taking people's things.
