ok well im having a problem with Harvest Moon Island Of Happiness,
im having issues with one of my games can any one help me please i really need help with the harvest moon island of happiness game for ds, well my problem is im trying to get the first girl you meet(natalie for those of you who dont know)and i know what her fave food it its just that i cant get it(fruit if you still dont know) cause the merchant doesnt sell fruit seeds and i havnt progressed very far so what can i do to get her heart to purple? i wanna do the heart event bad....icon_sad.gif so please help

Wait until Fall and I bet there will be fruit on the ground. You may actually have to wait until you build the bridge that leads to the mountains to get fruit ( I haven't seen any around the town at all). Until then, just give her a flower everyday. She seems to like flowers too.

If you're planning on giving her JUST fruit, you're gonna be pretty stumped until your second or thrid year since the fruit trees can be bought in the second year, and strwberries can only be obtained when 2 or more farmer sub-characters move into your town.
I suggest just give her choclate until Fall when you can save some money and give her Blue Magic Flowers. Either that or go for the other 5 potential brides (Julia: give her fodder or milk/eggs. Lanna: Fish S, choclate. Sabrina: pinkcat/toyflower. Witch Princess: toadstool, red grass. Chelsea: talk to her daily.)
Plus, you're also gonna have to save up a LOT of money. Just thought I'd let you know sweatdrop

thanks for all the advice i think im going to try everything you said.....the bridge might take awhile for the fact that i gotta keep talking to them to keep them happy.....and ya well its gonna be hard but thanks alot for the advice

OKAY i have a new issue now i have gotten Natalie up to blue heart and i have shipped 200 things in a month but cant trigger the purple heart event so what am i doing wrong, i didnt do it when it was raining/snowing nor on monday or tuesday....so what do i need to do?

To trigger Natalie's second heart event (purple), it depends on what answer you chose for her frist scene. If you chose the first answer then the purple heart event is quite easy to get. It's at Taro's house, it doesnt matter what season or weather, and it can't be after 11pm. The only thing that's tricky about getting the scene, is making sure Natalie, Felicia, and Taro are all in the house.
If you chose the second answer for her first scene, then that is will take much longer to get. Basically because you have to have Gannon build the bridge to the forest, so you can visit the Mountain area (its a precondition for the scene). The scene takes place at your house between noon and 5pm. It can be anywhere from sunny to raining (I think >.>).

umm whats the first scene and how do i get it? cause if its when you first meet her i dont think you can give an awnser and umm where? is the first scene exactly?

ACK!! Sorry sweatdrop The purple heart event is the first one. Sorry. I gave you the info for her blue I think. I'm sooo sorry!!!!!
Her purple heart event is at Taro's house. It can be triggered after 5pm but not on a monday or a tuesday. She has to be inside and you have to make sure you've shipped 200 items. You can trigger it when it's sunny or cloudy.
