ok, well, im new here, YAY! but i have a problem that aint so new. me and my current girlfriend of four years have hit a snag, and i want to leave her, how ever, in the past i have and she's attempted suicide, and she just keeps threatening to do so, and i havent the faintest idea on what to do. if i stay ill lose my mind, and it might turn into a murder suicide, if i go, she'll kill herself. some one please help me!

dude , i used to hve the same problem . wht i did was tht i explained to her why was i leaving her && hw she should just move on . the next thing i know , she found a new boyfriend already . haha . so i think u should slowly leave her && when u see tht she's independent enough to tke care of herself , then leave her but just keep an eye fr her . if she seems depressed or smething , be there fr her . helped this helped : )

Tell someone you trust about your situation. An adult you trust is probably a good option.

one of my best friends is going through the same thing, only he cheated on her before threatening to kill himself if she left him. apparently they "fixed" things and are still together, but unfortunately i have no idea why.

Introdce her to knew friends and new support system so she will feel she has someone to talk to when you are not around.

Majic Ninja Leave her and if she kills herself, that sux for her...but i doubt she will... I think you should allways leave poeple when you know they can mange on thier own, it is better for the karma, and you never know when you are going to need someone...

I agree your going to have to bring a third person into this. You can't deal with this on your own. I think it's disgustingly selfish of her to keep you with her by doing something like that. Tell someone and im sure you will be fine.

Wow. I am completely USELESS. I'm usually good with these suicide situations, but something like this... I believe a group therapy could help.
