This is something that I have figured out in the hacker's forums when I was reading through them. Why was I reading through the hackers forums? That is because, to protect yourself you have to study what brings you harm. So I studied about the hackers in the forums. Although the gaia staff are so~!! Obvious and easy to find in the forums I have kept myself hidden in the forums.

So here it goes. To protect yourself from hackers you have to figure out which one is a hacker and which isn't.

Most hackers hide their profiles, and would often send you links. First most of the links would be decent but then they will try to get into your account.

Their main purpose is to get your expensive items and your money. So mostly likely when you see someone really rich in towns it might be a hacker... So be careful. Good hackers used to use a hacking software that actually hacks gaiaonline itself. It's called a black hole. It is used in towns to like make everyone appear at a single spot: it drags you to the place where they want you to be. So in other words if that happens they would be able to advertise their links to you.

Some hackers would try to get rid of you by passing a really expensive item, that they stole from someone and if it gets passed again gaiaonline will think that you are the main account of the hacker. Therefore gaiaonline will ban you from the site.

Ways to protect yourself from hackers would be by just simply not going to links people provide you. You don't know, your friend might be a hacker. You might loose all of your money because you believed someone.

Although about the black hole hack program... It is not used much anymore, more like they are afraid to use the program.

Another thing to say to you people is that by reporting hackers, there is no way you can keep them away from gaiaonline.com cause they have ways of faking their ip address. So even if you managed to get them banned you have to change your password and username for safty.

Fighting hackers are not easy. The only way I can think of to get rid of them is to go to their house and destroy their computers and send them to jail!
